  2. If you do that just remember to check your time. If its set to ship time it might auto update once back off Airplane mode.
  3. The time you request is when you enter it into your app. Want a specific time then dont enter it in until just before you want to go.
  4. It is a great evening dining experience. we do it every cruise its offered. Also on the Celebration for a 7 night cruise you will be hard pressed to enjoy all the food options if the MDR is in your plans as well. Just too many lol. Emiril's for Banana's Foster is a must do as well.
  5. Exactly my point. People are calling it the midnight buffet, expecting the same as a midnight buffet (even though its not) and getting upset about it.
  6. mmmkay but is it really the "Midnight Buffet" of old or just some snacks laid out to offset the lack of venue offerings at that time of the night?
  7. Thanks for pointing that out. My opinion is 5 may be many when reading only 10 reviews but given there are hundreds of responses on many threads here on cruise critic related to the Mardi Gras saying the exact opposite i would say 10 reviews is a pretty tiny data set to base any comments on.
  8. When you say "so many" could you put a number to that? Did you read 1 thread? 5? 15? Did you just read the first post or did you read all the replies to the post? Ive never seen a thread on a Ship review that had a 100% agreement with that review. Just curious how you arrived at "so many"
  9. What does " a no once" and "a no obvious" refer too?
  10. so no need to gamble just give them your personal info?
  11. dont i wish i had an understanding of the algorithm they use to determine that. I gamble maybe 1000 each cruise and i cruise once a year sometimes twice and have a lot of free interior room offers although 95% are to Australia.
  12. I would have to be there to help you love your cruise. 🙂
  13. Should have emphasized how you wanted the job so bad that you were willing to interrupt your vacation to accomodate them.
  14. its like being at an Airport they have staff that will take you onboard and off if you require assistance.
  15. Yaaaaa highly unlikely. You are right that you dont know what that has to do with it because unless your other daughter has the same offer you could end up paying the 2200 at the port. You can ask 5 different agents this same scenario and get 5 different responses and they might be sure of their responses but that wont make them right.
  16. A suggestion is going to Carnival.com, actually reading what Cheers includes, making a list of the drinks you will drink out of that list and then using the drink calculator to figure out if its worth it. Cheers is so much more than just Alcoholic drinks and even non-alcoholic drinks can add up if thats all you drink.
  17. There is a part on the offer called Terms and Conditions. Thats always a good place to start when your thinking of purchasing something to use for someone else.
  18. Drinking alcohol is not a pre requisite to sail on Carnival or any other Cruise line. I get so tired of the "I heard Carnival are party ships"
  19. I think like @jimbo5544 alluded to you have to be of a mindset on these types of cruises that you may miss ports or not get there at all. We had a port skipped on our Iceland Cruise due to weather as well. The other thing to note is there may not be a lot of private excursion companies in Greenland so they can get booked up quick and/or cost a lot of money.
  20. Not sure what Poland Springs is but if your asking if you can bring an empty water bottle on board to fill yourself the answer is yes you can.
