  1. Looks like 8:00p to me in Dr. Ron’s post.
  2. LesB posted a couple this week in the forum.
  3. I agree. And, while I don't know what the GDPR is, considering I can see all personally identifiable information along with full passport details of other people without even having the slightest technical acumen, certainly implies identify theft could occur. I know here in the U.S. if someone else has our passport number we're supposed to alert the proper authorities, namely the State Department.
  4. Some of my info shows in my account just fine. But, I can also read some of Paula's from New Jersey and Michelle's from Canada, whoever these women are. They have some really nice voyages booked too!
  5. Several disadvantages. Folks above have provided good advice. None, as far as Verandas are concerned, other than location. The suites are identical. Just depends on where you want to be on your chosen ship. Yes, it has been an issue for some. Do a search of this forum and you'll find the examples. Visit the Silversea website and familiarize yourself with their programs. All the detail is there for you to research at your leisure. Needed? Depends where you wish to dine and what the dress code is that for that evening. Acceptable? Always. You get what you pay for. Overall quality is hit or miss.
  6. Considering how Silversea has seemingly followed whatever Regent does ever since Regent's former CEO (Mark Conroy) joined Silversea, don't be surprised if Silversea starts charging for telephone calls too.
  7. Totally agree. There are a myriad of reasons why someone would need, or want, to use the wheelchair services offered by an airline. FlyerTalker showed an utter lack of disability awareness and should be ashamed of the post directed to zqtchas.
  8. Too funny. You had to beg your son to go and we didn't even invite ours! Haha. When we told him of our plans about 6-months prior to our last voyage, he begged us to go. Like your kid, our kid works hard too, but unlike yours must enjoy dressing up on a cruise for a relaxing vacation. He and his fiancé bought some new clothes to wear on the ship. They both were super sharp! And, unlike you, I never heard a single negative peep out of them about lugging dressier clothes either. So, I guess I'm in Stumblefoot's camp as he didn't say all Millennials like dressing up on vacation, just those he met on a Silversea cruise enjoyed it. Oh, and one last point, our kid paid his own way. 😉 He's an adult. He can afford to pay his own way if he wants to go. No need to bribe him in my book to spend time with his parents.
  9. Thanks! Sounds like a fun conversation over cocktails some time. And, I had no idea @Lois R was the Moderator here in the SS forum. Good to know!
  10. Ha! I have been wondering the same thing.
  11. Of course. There are too many brands that make zipperless luggage to list them all here.
  12. Agree with crusinbanjo. The second itinerary is better than the first.
  13. I don't think folks who are responding to you are being pedantic, but you seem to be a bit cantankerous to them. I too agree with Stumblefoot as my most recent experience was similar to sea bright's. I even had a date of a so called "confirmed" reservation like you pasted above changed to a completely different date. No big deal to me, but do be sure to check your requests once you arrive in your suite.
  14. Smart move. Nobody could possibly answer your question here.
  15. For those who didn't receive the Venetian Society survey, below you will find each screen as posed by Silversea. Personally, I was shocked by the questions measuring the likelihood of booking a cruise on their sister lines, in addition to measuring whether the new Silversea loyalty program's reciprocal benefits would entice a Silversea passenger to book a cruise on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity. Does Silversea really want their passengers to trade down to their sister lines? I don't know, but this reminds me of how Marriott destroyed the Ritz Carlton brand after acquiring it. I'd love to read others' thoughts on this proposal after reading the survey below. SECTION 1 Question 1 Question 2 Question 3 Question 4 Question 5 SECTION 2 Screen 1 Screen 2 Question 6 Question 7 Question 8 Question 9 SECTION 3 Sreen 3 Screen 4 Question 10 Question 11 Question 12 Question 13 Question 14 Question 15 Question 16 Question 17 SECTION 4 Question 18 Question 19 Question 20 THE END
  16. Is that Myster? If so, my oh my. What a *****-a-doodle-doo he has. County fair worthy, for sure.
