We attended a white night on another cruise line. What a disappointment. It only lasted 30 minutes and involved mostly kids.

We are sailing on the Adventure of the Seas next month! This is our first time on Royal Caribbean. We like to enjoy a couple of cocktails at the bar and talk and watch the bartenders before going to dinner. For those of you who have sailed on Adventure, do you have a favorite spot you can recommend?

We don’t sail until this October.

For my cruise a BOGO comes to: buy one at full price and get second person at half price. $102 + $51 = $153 total, before gratuity. Divide that by two and it comes to $76.50 per person. Watch the sales, and find one that comes to a cheaper per person price. I was able to purchase mine is $70.99 a person.

We fly Allegiant often. It was a nice surprise when we saw Buffalo Trace added to their refreshments. Now if I can only get my beloved Woodford!

Woodford is my absolute favorite. But for that kind of price, I can do without it for a week.

Your comments have been very helpful. The package is running $71 (before gratuity). If he is only spending approximately $10 a drink (before gratuity), anything over seven drinks is beyond our drinking habits. I don’t think the package is really saving us money.

Sorry, this is another beverage package question. While I enjoy the foo foo drinks, my spouse likes just a bourbon and soda. What is the average cost of say a Buffalo Trace and cola? The cost may make purchasing the package not a good value. Thanks!

I googled zip lining clothing and this is what I found: “Long shorts or light pants. Shorts should be long enough to go under the harness (mid-thigh and longer is best). Ladies: short shorts aren’t the best idea… (chafing).” ”…it is always better to wear long pants, leggings, or capris.” Does your daughter have anything else other than a skort?

Even with BOGO it still comes to $76 a person, not including gratuity. Not low enough for us to come out ahead.

Keeping an eye on the cost. Right now it is $76. For me I’m a bit short, but my spouse would go over. Right now just breaking even. Fingers crossed the package goes down more. Is there a July 4th sale?

We were on the glory last week and loved the adult pool. Did not see any “non-adults” during the times we were there. Loungers can be hard to come by at times as there are not as many. If that was the case, we went up to the adult only section of the serenity deck.

AARP gift cards are definitely the way to go to save a few dollars. Become a member, purchase gift cards, cancel membership if need be.

We were on the Glory last week in cabin number 7446. Loved it! I did feel vibration at night, but found it very soothing. As for the balcony, we were only on it in the very early mornings. In the afternoons the sun became extremely too hot. Cannot comment on early evenings as we were still out partying! 😉 No smells. The only issue we had was one day maintenance was sanding railings, and paint flakes rained onto the balcony. But this could happen anywhere on a ship. No big deal.

Happy belated birthday! I hope you enjoyed your cruise, but I’m sorry to hear about your son’s illness. I am impressed how well housekeeping responded to your needs!
