Same with the 9/3-9/10 cruise. One gate and it was a zoo trying to get out of the lot. No cash taken also.

Usually emailed on last day. Did you check your email or junk folder?
Yup, nothing

Does anyone know who to contact to get an itemized bill after coming home from a cruise? I only got partial the 2nd to last day and would like to have the entire list of things I ordered, thanks.Â

Thanks everyone!!!

Shortly after the ship is in international waters... it leaves bayonne about 4pm, so it should be open by 5ish I would assume. Looking at a recent cruise compass, 5:15 is the official scheduled time
Â
Great, thank you 🙂

Does anyone know when the casino opens on the first day? Thanks.Â

With gratuity they usually come to about $15.

Are you meaning Slot Pull that is organized by a fellow cruiser? Or do you mean an actual Slot Tournament put on by the Casino?
By fellow cruisers
-
What's the most your group (and yourself) have ever won on a slot tournament?

Thank you everyone 🙂

Yes. It's too late for me. It didn't used to be that late.
When was it earlier as every time I have been to it, it was at least after 11pm. This is going back to 2006.Â

I thought it was 30 days out. Last year we couldn't do it until we got on the cruise but hearing others being able to book way before the 30 days now. Thanks.

Not sure what you are referring to with "Promenade Balcony". No such thing. Could be a Promenade interior, which has no balcony or could be one of the inward facing balconies (Boardwalk or Central Park).
Â
Both of the inward facing balcony options have their share of noise issues but if I had to choose 1 which I would think would be the quieter, I would go with the Central Park balcony. The noise on the Boardwalk can be significant at a variety of times of the day and night. In CP, you will have some noise from the pool decks during the day and in the evenings could be some music from down below but generally, pretty tame. On the Boardwalk, you could have the Aqua Theater noise blaring or noise from the raucous on the Boardwalk.
Â
Frankly, the quietest of all the options would be an oceanview balcony but as you noted, they could be located in a million different places all over the ship.
Â
Good luck with the RoyalUp.
Was just going to say the same thing. The Promenade rooms don't have balconies. They have windows that show the promenade. The only balcony rooms are ocean view, central park or boardwalk. We have had CP and loved it but getting BW this time and not really worrying about noise. From experience of just being on the BW the most noise is during the day. We won't be going to bed before 11 anyway and they say if the door is closed it really is not that noisy.

Best way to keep the kiddos out. Far too many parents would take their kids there if earlier, some still do anyway. Â
Oh they still do. I have seen many young kids.Â

I can't take naps unless I'm awake for like 30 hours straight. And no matter what time I go to bed I still wake up at the same time.
Ugghh I get you. I hate naps as I feel worse after.Â

Is it a easy walk from the port and do you recommend it there? Looking for something to do and a nice beach for 4 adults. Thanks.Â

Dang, for Explorer in March ‘24 the Truly bag is $54.99. Did the price on yours ever move around?
As far as I know, it is on sale right now.

I feel like these are different items. The bag in the planner now is fairly new, and comes filled in the room when you arrive It's kind of bulky so I don't see them filling it- but maybe they do and it's just not mentioned!Â
As far as I have heard, you can bring back any bag and they will refill it for you. We have ours from 2016 but want to get the new one this time. I think the bag is $10, that is why the refills are cheaper.

I am going on the Independence next weekend and have my "beer bag" cooler packed. I bought it last July at Labadee when we were headed back to the ship. Not sure if any beer deal will be offered as a refill....will let you know in a couple weeks 🙂
Thank you!!!

I guess I'm extremely skeptical about them offering any sort of discounted 'refill'. If they took away the measly can of soda and cookies from those with Diamond status and now everyone gets a couple of bottles of water, I don't hold out much hope for catching a break on things, lol. And I know, not everyone liked the cookies. But I did like the soda. Their email touting their 'great upgrade--you now will get water to keep you hydrated' was silly. We have purchased the cooler bag that comes with 6 Truly hard seltzers in it for our September sailing--also for $43.99. Since 6 Truly's purchased individually would cost $56 when you add the gratuity, I don't expect any additional deal will be offered beyond that.  Â
Yeah I get that. Hopefully we will both be surprised if they do 🙂

If you are referring to the cooler bags they used to sell at the ship bars with the buy X number get one free, I haven't seen those offered since the restart of cruising, and I've been on about a cruise a month since the June 2021 return.
I just bought it for our September cruise. $43.99 for 6 beers and the bag.
