Why? Do you know who is and who is not unvaccinated in your regular life? How would you know on a cruise?

Don't think this is the one they told cruisers leaving after 8/15 to look for as this doesn't start until September.

Why would they tell cruisers leaving on the 15th and on to check new protocols then if this is for September and not even for their port? I don't think this is THE announcement they told us to look for in our emails.

Our first cruise on the Big Red Boat had pool games on it and that was almost 30 years ago. I guess MOST people like those kind of things 😉

Funny how no one remembers when the vaccinated were told they could have get togethers, unmasked but the unvaccinated could not. Then all the vaccinated starting spreading it amongst themselves. I know unvaccinated who got less sick then the vaccinated so there is no real answer of who will get it worse.

RCCL has sexy man competition which is hilarious and we enjoy the belly flop (hubby is 4 time champ lol). No one makes you participate or observe so I am not sure what the big deal is. 🙂

Was just going to say the same thing. I am a huge hand washer but I know some who NEVER and barely ever get sick so sometimes that goes out the door and if they don't do it, your shaming won't make them change their mind. lol

I don't think they will test anymore at the dock according to the new protocols yesterday.

"Kids" are adults so we all are going to test the same day. Just very stressful. Trying to think positive though. 🙂

Haven't been on a vacation in 4 years, kids, 6 years. It is kind of stressful for us as this is a LONG awaited, MUCH needed vacation for all of us.

So from the map and everyone's opinions, what is the best beach to settle on while being able to still go the pool and other places? Breezy Bay?

Everyone should do what is comfortable for them and NOT have anything mandated. I have gatherered with friends and family since May 2020. When the restaurants opened we ate inside and out. When the hair and nail salons opened, I was the first one to be there. Since May of 2021 when masks were lifted and many things opened, I gathered in large crowds, unvaccinated. Never thought once of getting sick or getting anyone else sick as if they were not comfortable around others, they would not be there or maybe should NOT be there. I have only tested for work when made to. I only vaccinated for a cruise. I would not have had to for any other reason in my life. I have worn a mask once in the last 3 months and just for a doctors appointment. I assure you that no one was this concerned about anyone else before this and it is all shoved down our throats how horrible we are if we are not.

If your immune system is that bad that any virus would be life threatening for you, you should not be going places with many people. Why only now are we concerned over this when they knew before covid that any illness could affect them, and affect them badly?

Because we have 4 people and any one of us could be asymptomatic and ruin our entire vacation that has been planned for years. I agree I would rather be home if I was sick but if I had NO symptoms just like every other illness that might affect others, it should not be mandatory.
