On the NCL website it appears the Escape has been repositioned to Port Canaveral. Cruises listed from Jan to March...

I can only speak for myself. This has been the case for the last 5 cruises I've taken on NCL.

No one posting on CC with a Delta cobranded AMEX card has reported getting this offer including me. I do have it on my Blue Cash card.

Yes mine "works" the same. In ports I've booked the one I've booked shows. Others I've booked do show others. I think in that case they show up because they don't conflict time wise with the one you've already booked. However not always the case for whatever reason...

FYI I have this offer on my AMEX blue cash card. Expires Dec. 31st. Will have no problem using it as I have a final payment due in December.

FWIW once you book an excursion at a port all the others at that port are no longer visible. I don't like the way this works since I often want to go back and may change my mind but can't browse the excursions.

Given the quality or lack thereof of the comedians on some of my recent cruises perhaps you should apply for the job? I would attend your show. 🙂 🙂

On our recently completed GEM cruise in august the fare for our club balcony went down by $1400 total 4 weeks before the cruise and well after final payment. DW and I each received $700 FCC at completion of the cruise. The FCC expires Aug. 30 2024 so one year from end of sailing. If I remember correctly you must book and sail by that date. I don't understand any complaints about this FCC on this thread. I agreed to and accepted the price and made final payment. Complaints about restrictions make no sense as NCL was under NO obligation to provide ANY FCC.

I think I miswrote. I should have said payment not cash payment. I do think they accept credit cards.

To add another point. Foreign hospitals typically require cash payment. You then file with the insurance company to get reimbursed. So be sure to have enough credit line to cover costs.

Except this really isn't 0% APR. The headline may say so but the terms listed on NCL's site say "Based on a purchase price of $2,000.00 you could pay $165.57 today, followed by 12 monthly payments of $165.57 at 15% APR. APRs range from 0% to 36%. Down payment may be required. Actual terms are based on your credit score and other factors and may vary." So may be 0% APR if credit score is 800+ but could be as high as 36%.

If you haven't booked early and you are more interested in a cabin class rather than an exact cabin I've had success changing my booking just before final payment. Many people cancel, however it will be interesting if the new deposit requirements affect this. I've gotten an Oceania Suite and PH suites this way. Originally booked A or B as all suites were waitlisted.

You'll notice that 4 of the categories have the same price. That is how you'll know which cabins on a particular cruise is part of the sale. For example inside G,inside F, oceanview D, and C2 may show the same price which is the G inside price before the sale. IMO the 4 category upgrade sale is not much of a sale. Occasionally the sale starts at A3 and goes to PH3 but haven't seen that lately. That would be a good deal.

FWIW I seem to remember something in the passenger contract on my recent GEM cruise that mentioned using passenger images. Perhaps it may be covered by that clause too. Disclaimer: My memory could be failing me. 🙂

I think most of us know this. FWIW quarantine will happen if you have a GI illness until symptoms disappear. So Covid is only one reason for quarantine. In other words quarantine has always been happening on cruise lines.

Yes there has been many times the total in the cart has little or nothing to do with the individual items added up.... I've even seen a cart total dollars with no items listed. Last time we just made a list of all the excursions then called in to add. Then always verify the confirmation email.

Good to know. I'm in the process of booking excursions for a January trip. Not up to 6 yet but hoping I don't need to call this time.

FWIW this is not just a weekend issue. I have always had to call to get the discount if booking 6 or more online. Fortunately they have always fixed the price. Seems like a simple IT fix but has not been done.

I'll add packing 16 people in an oversize van is very uncomfortable. We had one on our recent NCL cruise in the Mediterranean. I would say the seats were 2" narrower than standard airline seats with less legroom. Our tour was fine but riding in the van was not comfortable. In this case the van rides were not long. The other small group tours we took were 8 people or less.
