  1. is 100 % worth it for $178 , but all you have to do is select one guest and you will only pay the $88.99 !
  2. It also stated "Additional fees may apply to booking changes or cancellations." ?? Cheers
  3. Every indication in the description shows that it is priced per package...Not per person . Even the title.."VIP for two Premier Pass" and then price clearly states 88.99 / per 'package' However , it has long been true when something seems to good to be true it usually is. Even thinking about the tour ... I mean how many of those would take place on a normal sailing ? With a deal like this the number would skyrocket ...There has to be reasonable limits on how many of these can actually be handed out. Not to mention as someone previously pointed out, Priority boarding for 50% of guests does not equate to actual priority boarding ! Something doesn't smell right Cheers
  4. This is also not up to par yet ! On each of my lat 3 sailings , 2 last fall and 1 last month , We were confirmed 2 Top , and Early TD seating . All 3 times we arrived and I went directly to Main dining to check on my assignment as I always do and 3 for 3 we did not even have a table . >>> And 2 of the 3 confirmations came directly from RCL Dining even telling me my table # . The dining departments definitely have some bugs to work out . Cheers
  5. Good to hear.. I'm hoping they will work out the bugs. I am going to be checking back on this subject in a few months , before back to backs in Oct. I have early for both , one is 5:45 which is about perfect for us , the other is 5:15 which for us is a bit early. However the other issue I have run into on last 3 sailings is that MT only starts at 6:45. If it were earlier and I was confident we could get our desired slot , I would go with MT and try for about a 6PM reservation each night. But for now... A lot of variables Cheers
  6. Agree , if you are joining other guests that not showing up on time is rude. If you are a 2 top and want to show a little later , then that is perfectly fine. On our cruise last month we were told that tables are held for 20 minutes , And we also saw a situation where our table neighbors showed up 35 minutes late and table was still held . This was later in the week , and they had been there every night . Head waiter was asking us if we knew if they were coming and it was no problem to hold when we told her we thought they would be there. In my opinion showing 15-20 minutes after seating begins is not "late", it is within the allowed for time and it is completely acceptable . Again I would restate this is different if you are holding up other tablemates Cheers
  7. How long has it been since you cruised ? Asking because since the restart there have been a huge number complaining about my time , and stories of wait times of 45 mins. plus. After looking into this in the fall , I decided to change from my time to early. Origainally had gone with my Time for the same reason OP spoke of... 5 P.M. was too early
  8. I was on Wonder on Feb.12 sailing last month and this happened to me also . I had just been on Symphony last October and was not able to reserve anything until I boarded the ship so assumed it would be the same . I just happened to check on here some time mid January to find out booking had opened up Jan.1/23 and was then only able to book some, as rest were sold out . Was expecting to have to wait in the standby line for Aquashow and Comedy etc. However , Upon boarding I checked the App and was able to book Aqua, and by day 2 I had snagged a spot for comedy . Whatever their system is makes no sense to me but don't be too discouraged ,. Hopefully it will work out for you as well Cheers & GL
  9. Very curious how you know that the waitstaff and room stewards pass that money over to the ships tip pool... Seems human nature would tell me that some may and most would not.. Could you explain further please ? And to the original poster .... Did you truly believe starting this thread would not fall into this chasm ??
  10. I was also wondering about guest services , but since the consensus seemed to be all telling me loyalty department , I wasn't sure what to think . That poses a similar annoyance as going to guest services on day 1 is definitely ill advised , unless I could actually manage to get there immediately.. and ahead of the chaos. Anyone else weigh in on this as an option. Would they be just as likely to be able to help ? Cheers
  11. Ya , I try not to be negative and worry about things before they happen,(or don't happen), but with my recent experiences onboard I admit... I will hope for the best... but be expecting the worst . Hopefully I'll be able to board very early and try and get ahead of the rush so not too much of my day will have to be wasted ...Oh the struggles we have to put up with in this cruising lifestyle :))
  12. So in the meantime were you able to use your drink vouchers Etc. ? Or did they reimburse you after the fact ? How did that work out ?
  13. Perfect Brillo, That's what I was wondering. I assumed they would not deny my status , But was wondering just how much hassle it was gonna be to get it done. Embarkation day is proving very busy for me on my last 3 cruises. B2B in October and just returned from Wonder last month. MDR fails on all 3 that needed to be fixed , and also was supposed to have strawberries and champagne waiting on arrival to stateroom , and again 3 for 3 Failed . I'm hoping to not have to spend much more of the day trying to resolve this next issue.... Though it will definitely be the most important to get settled. :) Cheers
  14. I have seen problems in my last 3 sailings since October ..when it comes to dining...I have been confirmed for early dining , table for 2 on all 3 sailings, and 3 for 3 , I have showed up and not even had a table .. Soooo... definitely not expecting a smooth transition to Diamond
  15. My concern is it would not be updated automatically... would you agree with that assumption ?
  16. Sooo , I am turning Diamond after 3 more cruise days. It is my understanding that I officially turn diamond after the cruise in which I reach the necessary # of days (80) to be considered Diamond,, sittimg at 77 points I am considering booking a 4 day cruise followed by a 7 day cruise departing 2 days later .. Sooo a couple questions .../ assumptions...? I am assuming that if i book these 2 cruises simultaneously that I will likely not recieve the diamond 'booking 'benefit ' on the second cruise at booking, as I am not technically diamond until after cruise #1 is completed... Question 2 ... Will I have any issue receiving Diamond 'Onboard' benefits for cruise #2 ... ie 4 free drinks per day , or will it be a battle to get what is deserved at boarding cruise #2 ? Has anyone experienced this situation ?
  17. Hi all , am heading on the Sept.24 sailing of Symphony and hoping to get an idea what the entertainment line up might look like. If anyone who was on the Sept.10 sailing might have a copy they could post that would be appreciated Thx Lobster Stalker
  18. Are the return vans easy to pick up and are they able to take you right back to the ship or are they limited to the station ?
  19. Soooooooo as a wrap up ... Does anyone else as cheap as me have experience walking to the bus station from the dock instead of taking the cabs from the pier ? From what I can gather it is only a 15-20 minute walk and goes through some shopping district . The kicker though for us cheapies is from what I have gathered 25$ for a cab from pier and as little as 2.40$ pp for the vans at the station. I kick myself for not keeping records of my travels because 4 years ago is a long time for me to remember anything ... Thx for the help Cheers
  20. if you were in the pool , the storm wasn't too bad .Get into a real "good "one and most everything will be closed down
