Depends on where you are from. I lived in South FL for 25 years and now live in Texas, the heat of the Carribean will be a nice break from the 100+ summer days here in Austin.

Is it possible to drop off your carry on items at your cabin even if it isn't ready yet?
-
Sold out, $200,000 of gift cards sold in just about 24 hours by that merchant.
-
Less than 100 gift cards left for this sale, if you haven't hopped on this now is the time.

I hear a lot about cutback on this board, when taking inflation into account are cruises more expensive, cheaper or the same price as the past?
-
Yes you need to book it once on the ship, I think tours are only offered on sea days.
-
$25 is not steep, if you go to any craft brewery and get a flight it will probably run you about $10, then a full four about $5-6, then add in a glass you get to keep another $5, so you are only paying a nominal amount for the tour. I'm big into craft beer and have been on more brewery tours than I can count, I skip them nowadays when going to new breweries since most explain the same things. However I do plan on taking the tour on the Vista, I'm curious as to how brewing on a ship differs from being on land. Can anyone comment as to if you get a discount if you have Cheers?

A similar situation happened on my spring break cruise with NCL years ago. We had a group of about 30 and all had rooms on the same deck, one bag went missing. NCL gave the guy who had his bag missing any clothes he wanted from one of the shops on board, all week he wore cheesy cruise shirts and bathing suits, he didn't care what he looked like since it was a party cruise. Then on the last day his bag appeared. It was the same thing with the bag being in someone else's room, that first day everyone was drunk and one of our group members grabbed the bag and just threw it in the closet.

Chacos are great, they would need to be broken in to be considered comfortable.

You're probably clicking last week's link, there is another thread I made with the new sale link, it is posted somewhere in this thread somewhere and below.Says, "no longer available for me" :(But thanks for posting!

I have an alert set up on Slick Deals for Carnival. Everytime a deal involving Carnival is posted I get an email and alert on my phone. That is how I found out the past 2 times and shared it here.I just ordered three of them. They all arrived within 6 minutes and I’ve already applied them to my balance. How do you find out when they are running this promotion? I’d like to pick up more when I have the money -
I've heard of some people giving a cash tip to their room steward or servers/bartenders at the beginning of the cruise to hopefully ensure speedy or great service throughout the length of the cruise.
Is this practice you have found helpful?
How much would you tip up front for a 7 day cruise?

Paypal asked for my banking information, should I fill it out? Or just my credit card

$100 Carnival gift cards (email delivery) for $85 on eBay right now. These are sold by a division of PayPal and are legit.
Limit is 3 per account, this is a different listing than the sale last week so you should be able to buy more if you took part in the previous sale.
If you have a Chase Freedom credit card attached to your PayPal you get 5% cash back through the end of June.
There were 500 gift cards available during the sale last week (I'd assume this sale will be the same), so as you see the number sold creep up you'll know its getting closer to being sold out.
Note: Some reported during the last sale that you can only pay via Paypal and not directing with a credit card. If you do not have a Paypal account it is easy to set one up and you can attach a credit card to you account for payments.

Is the prime rib in the MDR cooked to your liking? Most pics of it I've seen look well done.
-
I don't think they offer an option to buy and download photos, just one way Carnival is showing they're behind the times.
-
Let us know if they let you access the Havana Deck with just a boarding pass if your room isn't ready when you board and you don't have wristbands yet.
-
I don't see why you wouldn't, internet comes in via satellite so it should work anywhere on the globe.

So because it was a video, not pictures, that translates to it being ok to steal screenshots?
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
It is not stealing, they posted it on Facebook with the setting set to public so anyone could share and see it, taking photos or videos from those kinds of posts and reusing them does not violate any laws or Facebook policies.

You need to be on the phone with Carnival and not get off until this is fixed. Nobody here has a clue of what happened to it and cant fix it.
THIS!!!!
Not sure why people come here with problems and asking questions that only Carnival can answer and fix.

Permission is not needed to post them here, they are actually screenshots from a video, the video has been posted and shared all over FB.They will need to replace the carpets, so I wouldn’t worry about mold being an issue. Question though: did you ask for permission to repost this person’s pictures here?Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Yes, I recently purchased Cheers with gift cards.
Vista Punchliner location?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
I've looked all over the deck plans, but can't seem to find the location of the Punchliner comedy club on the Vista, where is it?
