  1. I had the same issue. Switched to the 206 number and was able to connect
  2. A couple of suggestions I’ve used when dealing with FE. One of you call just ask to be transferred to a supervisor. I’ve found those staff are us based and more skilled in solving problems. The web portal is a hot mess, I sometimes have to either unclick and re-click my passengers to access the site or clear my cookies to have it work properly.
  3. I've had some really challenges with FlightEase but today I felt like the service functioned as intended. My family is set for a sailing next week out of Copenhagen. We have 2 cabins and as such 2 sets of flight reservations. Today as I was reviewing and confirming all of my travel plans I realized that at some point my departure date was moved up a day while my wife's reservation was unchanged. All same flights, connections were the same just two different departure dates. I quickly verified all my documents and have documentation showing that the correct date was booked and I called HAL hoping to get things fixed. Most of my experience with Flight Ease has been a pain and take a significant amount of time to resolve. Today I spoke with Marcus who was incredibly knowledgeable and could see that in April there was an error that resulted in my flight being moved back a day. Within 10 minutes the situation was resolved and we were able to get new seat assignments. While our new seats weren't where we intended we were able to remain in the same class and most importantly travel together as a family. I've voiced my complaints about FlightEase in the past, and while I probably wont use the service again in the future its good to know that it appears the customer service side of HAL is starting to show signs of improvement, and thought it was worth sharing a positive story.
  4. Just my two cents but it’s unlikely the game will be carried on the ship. It’s mostly international sports, even on ESPN2. It’s possible the game could be broadcast internationally but is unlikely.
  5. I purchased my flights via Flight Ease and I’d like to upgrade my return flight (Delta) Premium Select to DeltaOne. Delta doesn’t have the ability to do the upgrade because the flight was booked through HAL. HAL wants to cancel and rebook which is silly. Has anyone had a similar experience or have a solution to my issue?
  6. It’s odd. We have two casino discount sailings booked for next month. One is pretty generous with casino credit and allows HIA. The second under my wife is less generous, offers no casino credit and no ability to add HIA. Interestingly my wife can get the shareholder benefit with her booking but I’m precluded from that benefit on my booking.
  7. This is been a great update. Been on the Koningsdam a few times but this will be a first for us this June. In terms of music at Roling Stone and Billboard, good overall? Any casino impressions? Full or busy?
  8. If you charge chip to your on board account it counts as onboard purchases. Also a great way to maximize CC miles.
  9. OP its been my experience that the Flight (Un)Ease department wants to get you off the phone asap and i wouldn't trust anything they tell you. Might be worth sending an email to the office of the president to get an official answer. Just my opinion but FlightEase is one of the worst ran elements of HAL and is in need of better leadership.
  10. Its not a problem to pay for flights with gift cards or FCC. Some parts of the site will take a giftcard, other portals wont. I just suggest calling HAL to process the payment. Note you dont have to call the (dreadful) Flight department. Reservations or your PCC can take the payment.
  11. Because I'm traveling with my children and we booked two rooms I have to have my DW on one reservation with a child(16) and another reservation for me and our other child(7). I'm looking at booking the Have It All package (which we have used before) but have some odd questions based on our reservation. Can the Have It All be purchased on ship? if so from where?and can it be purchased for one if purchased on board? If I purchase the Have it All, can I still upgrade my drink package to Elite onboard? We've done this before and just wondering if policies have changed. Last odd question, not Have it All related, but anyone have success booking one room for adults and one room for kids (16 & 7)? If we were able to do that it would completely solve our problem. thanks!
  12. My family and I leave for a Mediterranean sailing tomorrow. We fly into Greece on Thursday but don't board until Saturday. We plan to all test tomorrow prior to leaving for the airport. What happens if between the time we get to Greece and the time we board one of us are positive? I recognize that we would be prohibited from boarding but are we on our own to find a quarantine hotel? Our return flight is two weeks later out of Venice. This has been my fear since cases have started to rise again, not sure if anyone has any real world experience.
  13. Notes is very odd. It sometimes operates as a bar, others it’s an activity location. There are usually a handful of tastings that’s offered through the week. I would typically order a glass of Blantons while watching Billboard Onbaord and the Notes staff were able to help. Just a heads up, some but not all the whiskeys at notes are covered by the signature or ultimate beverage package.
  14. Just a ton of thanks for this review. We fly to Athens on Wednesday and board on Saturday. Looking forward to using your insight to make our trip more enjoyable. Any specific meal in the MDR that surprised or wowed you? Im usually a steak and spud guy but always looking to try something new!
