We booked my parents in this room on our sailling in December. They LOVED the balcony! The pictures and video do not do it justice!
I have pictures I took when we were on board if you'd like me to post them.
I would love to see the pictures! Thank you!

We just booked Corner Aft Balcony cabin 7152 on the Rhapsody and after looking at some YouTube videos could not be more pleased! It has a wonderful wrap around balcony. We may not want to leave the room! Cruise is not until 2/20/21! Now I have to wait 2 years before I can enjoy it!
This will be our first time on this ship, any feed back would be appreciated.

What is the amount of discount D & D+ receive for balcony bookings?

Thank you both!
Your welcome. Also, if I recall correctly, the relief area was tagged as specific to an individual dog so I assume that the owner made arrangements with Royal as to it's placement.

I know that this may be limited.
But if you do come across a service dog relief area, can you let me know what area it is in..
Thanks.
I have seen service dog relief areas on deck 5 (under the life boats) on several ships.

I'd like to tack on a question to this. What is the difference between the two?
From what I understand the main difference is who has access.

Keep in mind that the weather you are coming from may influence your perspective of the weather you are traveling to!
-
There have been a lot of threads on that and on most that I have read it is reported that both have to buy the package, but if one requests a refreshment package instead, that may be allowed. Apparently a special request will have to be made, it can not be done on the website.

I know that Mother Nature can be fickle, but what can I expect the weather to be for my April, 2019 transatlantic (Fort Lauderdale, Azores, Cork, Bruge, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen).
Will the first 6 days at sea be warm enough for the pool?
I assume it will be jeans and shirts for the other ports and I will be bringing a rain coat, maybe a light jacket.
Any suggestions or past experience would be very helpful
Thanks
I believe that there is a good chance that it will be warm enough for the pool. Especially since you will be coming ( I assume) from MA. We have done the trip a couple of times and if I recall correctly weather was very pleasant all the way to the Azores, and not bad after that.
If this is on the Serenade, we may run into each other, as we are also on that TA.

You will have more trouble avoiding photo shoots than finding them.

Welcome to the forum!
Difficult to answer. I have always been comfortable and slept well, but you may have different needs than I. Also, not sure all the beds on any ship will be the same.

Oh those fridges more often than not just Keep thinks on a slightly cool side, but not really Cold. Though I have had luck with them and actually freezing my water bottles into blocks of ice.
I've read that the performance can be improved by leaving the cabinet door cracked open a bit. That allows the inside of the cabinet to cool a little and the inside temp of the fridge is controlled by the temp of the air surrounding it.

Freedom was our first ship and we loved it, but I can't answer your question about the chairs.
We have only been on a larger ship once and did not find it as enjoyable. It seemed too crowded/busy to us so I'm guessing that we have different tastes than you,

I have not seen a need to deal with the food issue that you describe. We find that there is plenty of variety in the WJ alone.
As far as entertainment is concerned, there is some repetition of shows, but they do have different entertainers. No two cruises on a B2B have been the same. Most of our B2B involve a transatlantic or a transpacific, so the cruise itinerary is also different.

One continuous 24 HR Internet $12.99, Free Photo $19.99, Balcony discount around $200, not sure where you are getting free laundry, a discount yes. Times two for DW and me for both being Diamond, for some reason does not add up to well over $600.
I am not trashing C&A, but it is not as great as some people think it is, just my opinion. Oh, by the way the 3 drinks a night, low grade liquor. People asked why I brought out my sea pass during the “free drink” time.....I like a better liquor.
We like longer cruises and take advantage of the offered drinks. My perks can easily add up to over $1000. per B2B cruise. If you do not take advantage of the offers, then they are of no value to you.

You can ask, but I believe that as others have said, points are awarded after the cruse is completed, not part way through a cruise.

We did have a little fun at your expense. I apologize if you were offended. You may want to consider unfollowing this thread, then you will not be notified of any more posts here.

Have you considered a New England foliage cruise?

We have received several RoyalUp emails for each leg of our B2B on the Liberty.
The offers were for $100 pp and up. The $100 was for a upgrade (bid) from our balcony to a spacious balcony. The others were for JS, GS-1br,GS-2br. We opted to not bid since our B2B is in the same room and we did not want to risk the room change on out first B2B experience.
I agree with you. Royal makes the room change very painless, but one advantage of a cruise over a land tour is the ability to settle into a room and not have to move until its time to go home.

Sailed out of NO on the Serenade a few years ago. Hoping RCI will return as we loved cruising down the old Mississippi river.
It would be even better if it was during daylight hours.

I saw this mentioned here: March 20, 2020 to April 9, 2020.
If some one posted it here, then the information is available somewhere. Perhaps it just requires a more diligent search.
