Nieuw Statendam is leaving for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise and a 14 day combined Western Eastern Caribbean cruise. Last Saturday NA led the parade. No toots until out of the channel - right after the Love Boat theme from a Princess ship.

We got such a card on our January 2023 Panama Canal cruise. Redeemed it in November 2023.

Never would do that. Besides, I'll be busy getting off the ship (sadly) and then on the way home. No computer time for me.

Actually, Nieuw Amsterdam is at sea today - heading towards Ft. Lauderdale, arriving there March 2 (tomorrow)

Shore excursion desk only deals with shore excursions. Guest Services can remove credit card charges for dining reservations while leaving the dining reservation intact. Then you use OBC when actually dining. I have never heard any one being able to have Guest Service transfer credit card charges to OBC for pre-booked services. Laundry is the same price whether pre-purchasing or onboard, so might as well wait until onboard to order.

I have always been able to do this on the Website from the Itinerary in Manage My Cruise. Next to each reservation is the option to cancel.

I too prefer the previous simple version. But for giving to others who have computers or smartphones, I use the "Print to PDF" feature (or whatever phrase your browser uses) and e-mail it to them. Or for a bare-bones itinerary you can use the itinerary page of your confirmation receipt. (Page 4 for me)

Boarded the Nieuw Amsterdam on Saturday, 2/24. Arrived at terminal via parking lot shuttle just before 11. Quite a few of us were on Deck 9, mid-ship by 11:15. All were taken there because rooms weren't yet ready. Many found window seats in the Lido area and accessed the self-serve tea and lemonade while waiting for it to open. However, DH went to stateroom and left carry-on luggage in room because he found our room keys in the slot. With room keys in hand, we were able to order from the bar - no servers roaming yet though. Discovered bartenders were also accepting proof of stateroom from Navigator on smartphones. At 11:30 Lido opened, NY Pizza began taking orders and bar servers started roaming the Sea View Pool area. Dive-In probably opened then as well. We grabbed sandwiches from the Lido and took them out to the shaded area around the aft pool. Rooms were ready for occupancy before we finished lunch.

Many of the ships do have seats on swing arms for pools and hot tubs, but I cannot say that all do. I would contact Guest Accessibility. They can tell you which have stairs, ladders and/or the swing arm seats. GuestAccessibility@HollandAmerica.com

However, we did give 3 toots a few minutes after I heard Sky's Love Boat theme. I guess leading the parade isn't too bad, but seeing (and hearing) the others leave would have been nice too.
