  1. I'm trying to recall...I just don't remember there being any noise that bothered us. (Group of 4, so we were in our own little world!) We were way over against the windows...but if there was anything going on in the piazza you would certainly hear it since it is open to that area.
  2. Yes...I made a couple of posts regarding The Catch in my "Live From" thread here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2939159-sky-princess-iceland-missed-ports/page/8/ The food was probably the best we've ever had on a cruise. Looking forward to doing it again on the Sky this November on its transatlantic.
  3. I suspect this is simply a bug (no surprise there!) but I am hoping that maybe I'm just missing something that is staring me right in the face. I have two cruises booked. If I use the web version and I try to look at dining reservations for the first upcoming cruise, I get the schedule for the 2nd cruise. If I go into DMW for the 2nd cruise, I get the proper schedule. I'm not seeing a way to "switch" bookings at this point like in the app itself when you click on your pic to select the booking you want. (I don't think they intend for you to be able to "switch" at this point...) When using the app, I am able to see the proper schedules for my bookings. Is anybody else having this issue? It's probably just my database record that's been corrupted somehow...not the first time (though it's been awhile.)
  4. As you have already discovered...and others have shared, you cannot make a "full cruise" dinner reservation for the same table on line at this time. Your best bet will be to go ahead and make those reservations for your choice of dining room and time yourself using the "normal" system. Then, once on board (best done the first day) go and see the DR manager or person at the restaurant and explain what you want to do. *Most* people have reported that they were successful in doing this. Good luck!
  5. I was able to book 2 cabins this past August (2022) using the same CC with no issues.
  6. In case anybody is interested... The Internet "Wayback Machine" has this page archived from Feb. 9th, 2020. It shows how Alfredo's was included in the "base cruise fare". Of course...this was never in dispute, but just note that this is a REALLY good resource to use in looking back at what *used to be*... https://web.archive.org/web/20200815110131/https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/whats-included/
  7. I stand corrected! I was totally interpreting the situation differently. I went back and re-read the initial post (again) and it finally hit me...they didn't want the transfer for the day *after* disembarkation, only to get to the airport on disembarkation day and then they would "do their own thing". Apologies! Of course Princess *will* sell them that transfer! They don't know (or care) that they are not flying that day. Sorry for the confusion I have created! 🙄
  8. I think you missed where the OP said they were not flying out on the day that they disembark. They are staying at a local hotel (booked on their own) and was asking about a transfer in that situation. If they purchase a transfer there is no mechanism to say they want it for the next day unless they have booked the hotel through Princess. Go back and read the initial post...
  9. Well...since you say it is trying to charge you...SD is "open". The issue is that the system is not recognizing your dining credit(s). Many people have just gone ahead and accepted the charge and then straightened it out with guest services once on board. Is this issue happening with the app or the web version? They *should* both do the same thing...but many times there is a disconnect between them. Try "the other one" and see what you get.
  10. I have heard the same but I have no personal experience...
  11. Standard Fare mattress: Plus Fare mattress:
  12. Well...true. I didn't say anything about how "good" it was! 🤢
  13. For anyone looking for your package....
  14. You know you might be in for some trouble if you see these:
  15. @tourismtessy Sorry! Couldn't resist. Your steward should help you to move your stuff...you shouldn't have to repack anything. Leave your stuff hanging on hangers...they will bring a rolling cart to move those. You might want to do the things in drawers yourself...
  16. I wonder how often the lint filters are checked...
  17. Absolutely! If you have a lot of OBC that's what many people do...purchase on Day 1 with OBC.
