  1. Well...perhaps this is just semantics...but you don't "order" meals. If you have special dietary needs I suggest you speak to a Dining Room Manager early in your cruise and he can help with meals in the DR. For other meals...I suspect you are "on your own" as to selecting appropriate meals. You can always ask a manager if you are in the buffet, or any other restaurant as well.
  2. I have become very anal about taking hardcopies of EVERYTHING! When I book an excursion I copy the description over to a Word doc so I can easily print it, along with the cost information. Print. Then, when I get the payment confirmation email (I only do one excursion at a time) I print that out as well and staple both pages together & throw it into a folder that I take with me on the cruise. I've only needed this type of info a couple of times...but just having it available *once* and being able to easily resolve an issue with someone saying "You have not purchased this" is absolutely worth the time in setting it all up. Some people are *much* more trusting in "the system"...I *used* to be!
  3. Well, it *might* be in the right area based on the title... One of those is off base.
  4. Some TAs give out special coupon books to their clients.... I've never seen one!
  5. Be sure and let us know if you get past the barriers....there may be something really interesting that they don't want us to see!
  6. Exactly! You'll get whatever was in ample supply when the ship ordered provisions.
  7. Are they listed in your travel docs? Itinerary? They're probably still there...Princess "closes" access to excursion listings but you should have *something* showing what you have. (And NOT via the app! Don't count on anything that you really need to be shown in the app when it comes to your booking!)
  8. You're going to be at each other's throats before the cruise is over! With a mini-suite you can fairly easily squeeze in a third person...but 4 total (adults)? I don't think you're going to enjoy that very much. Just my opinion...
  9. By "Reserve" I assume you mean "Reserve Class Dining"? Only if you booked the cabin via that category. They are more expensive than "plain" mini-suites. All mini-suites do not have Reserve Class Dining (the "old" Club Class).
  10. As @snoozecrooze says...that person is very likely not even with Princess anymore. And...very unlikely that you would even cross paths again if she still works there. Don't let the actions of one person out of almost 2000 crew/employees that you interact with affect your decision to cruise with Princess again.
  11. Yeah, I don't get it how so many people moan and groan about "not taking their phone with them". I depend heavily on my phone now that I have a VERY good video/still pic capable phone. I make a "travel video" for us and whatever travelling companions may be accompanying us and I shoot 4K video. Can't do that with a flip-phone!
  12. Not exactly the view @ggprincess2004 speaks of, but you get the idea.
  13. Just to clarify...I NEVER do any of my booking/planning on the app! I always use either the Cruise Personalizer or the "web version" of the app.
  14. Yeah...that was *supposedly* the plan when we did the WD on the Sky a couple months back. Everyone was saying that the price was now $140. When I approached the DR Manager when I was trying to book, he acted like he knew nothing of this "new WD". We got in at the old price of $40. We will NOT be doing it any more if they go with the new pricing!
  15. Huh...I'm surprised that they do not make some kind of accommodation for solos as far as the hotel is concerned.
  16. We really like the Winemaker's Dinner; we've done it several times now. I admit, we've NOT done the CT...the price really turns us off.
  17. Just my opinion (worth LESS than 2 cents!), but I seriously doubt that you would get a forward facing cabin via a guarantee booking. I may be wrong...
  18. Yeah, you'd have to be really desperate to play a favorite game to bring it on board with you...unless it REALLY took up very little space. Those that live within driving distance of their port may have a different view of this...
  19. I've never booked EZAir, but we have learned our lesson in regards to not going in at least a day early! We missed a transatlantic sailing last year that departed from FLL. This was when the Southeast got that bad cold snap and many flights were delayed. Delta (in its infinite wisdom) felt that they did NOT need to check their de-icing equipment in view of the upcoming weather event. We made it to ATL 4 hours late but missed the last possible connecting flight to FLL that would get us to the ship. We will NEVER AGAIN try to go in on the day of embarkation!
  20. FYI...there's a bit of controversy over on the Celebrity board over the use of GCs. We have a future booking on Celebrity, so I was following the topic. Apparently, Celebrity has policies that if you use GCs and *you* cancel your cruise...there is NO REFUND back to the cards. More than one person has called and supposedly been given the same info. So...I guess we should count our blessings here on the Princess side!
