One understands from this thread that Celebrity has withdrawn trivia prizes such as 'deck of cards' and 'lanyard' and replaced said prizes with mediocre applause.
Done to reduce competiveness and rowdiness amongst its passengers . Most interesting.
Thank you for your informative post. I can not claim any insider info on this matter either way but one imagines the situation you have described would be extremely impractical to police.
There are also many potential variations to increase complexity where passengers reduce tips but leave an amount on. How would they have processed any cash tip pooling requirements in that situation.
One fails to understand the purpose of members portending their lack of interest and intention not to comment on this thread - and doing so by commenting further on this thread
One can only wonder who appointed these members to be the cruise critic forum topic police , apparently they seem to operate alongside the cruise critic forum thread post counter monitors
Princess Cruise Lines , to maintain standards uniformally, has the same dress code for all ships and itineraries
Princess do not have any designated casual cruises despite what some on here would try and wrongly claim
One has come to expect such misrepresentation from the Fifth Column Casualisationists. It is Princess Cruise Lines who set the dress code standards, not your fellow passenger.
Ones nomenclature is highly inaccurate as a 'non dressy night' does not exist within Princess Cruise Lines
One assumes one is referring to Smart Casual Night. Black jeans at any price do not fulfill this criteria whatever label is adorned.
One understands the 'buffet' is a more suitable environment for such clothes
It is Princess Cruise Lines who promote and endorse the dress code , therefore it is a reasonable expectation of your fellow passenger to not to constantly try and undermine this.
