Yes; possibly as soon as an hour and 45 minutes
So do we get an email link, or will it be accessible as long as we're signed in on the site? Secret handshake?

I don't cruise to watch tv, but my Phils just made it to the world series. Will I be able to see it on the Anthem next week?
They knocked out my Cards, so yes, I hope they go all the way.

Thank you everyone for your replies. True, the excerpts quoted are not the current policies on several fronts. Rules are constantly changing and HOPEFULLY the restrictions will be loosening up. We have an agents who is also receiving different responses, depending on who is on the other end of the call. It sure makes planning difficult. But……we wait, and hope. 🤞
I suggest you get anything confirming this IN WRITING in case of misunderstandings.

Guesses requested.... Will the lowest cost guarantee balcony be over $3,000 all in for two people?
What were the prices for the Wonder last March?

You dont have full control over them. The captain can turn them off at any time. So if you like going out on your balcony in the rain for example. Forget about it. IV's are a glorified OV room. We wont sail in one again.
Oh, my. Yeah, that would be interesting. Thanks.

If one person wakes up before the other they can't go sit out on the balcony while the other person sleeps.
True, but I'm very good at sitting quietly on the other side of the room, and this looks like it has more space available for that. I don't think that would be an issue for us. Thanks for the reply.

I can't believe they are doing Infinite balconies on this ship. My clients on Celebrity Edge class ships hate them. What is wrong with Royal Caribbean to first put them on Celebrity ships and now Royal. We will stick to the old ships...
What, in specific, do they dislike about the infinite balconies? I've never actually seen one before.

Good point. The cruise lines that cater to the newer older generations will probably have to adapt to the tastes of that generation.
We were discussing this on our last cruise, where the music was ballroom dancing and big band. They're going to have adults who grew up twerking and listening to hip hop (or whatever those young rapscallions call their music today). 🙂

The form is available online or you can request one at guest services if you know you have paid more than your personal allowance.
And that's the issue. The highly trained staff in the shop could easily have mentioned that while they are duty free, items above a certain amount might be taxed when they get off the ship, 'here's the form' or 'Guest Services will have more information'. It's not that hard, and it saves the hassle for the guests.

I would love to be there for inaugural simply because it is so much fun and you get a lot of junk, photo books etc
That's the part I want. 🙂
I can sail the ship anytime. I want to experience a maiden voyage.

The problem is that we don't know that the first cruise that they are releasing next week will actually be the first passenger cruise.
I suspect there will be many disappointed people who book that first sailing thinking it's the inaugural. Kind of like it sailing from the UK.
So.....book, or don't book?

I must have missed everything from Royal saying that was the inaugural.
That answers that question. I imagine most people will expect it to be the first passenger cruise.
-
The question raised in other discussion is - will the first cruise available for booking actually be the Maiden Voyage, or could they possible add more cruise before it if the ship finishes early?

That may be the first sailing that is available to be booked but I will bet money that it is not the inaugural. I fully expect additional sailings to be released prior to that date once they firm up the delivery schedule. Just a few short weeks ago they were saying she would be ready in October. They are playing it safe as far as releasing bookings.
But if they are selling it as the Inaugural.....
-
Just to clarify - 'inaugural sailing' is the 'maiden voyage' with all the bells and whistles, like we saw with Wonder last March? They used to have 'shake-down' cruises where you were expected to be a beta-test passenger.
-
Not on Voyager in the Baltic. Hopefully they'll add one soon. They are really fun to run into.

Some port bookings finally started to show up for Icon, with the first call in St Maarten scheduled for 24th October 2023.
So it would leave on Sunday the 22 from Miami, most likely?

DH gave me an envelope stuffed full on $1 bills - I thought he was taking me to a strip club (!) until I saw the rest of the things in the box - a photo of a tropical island, a picture of a tropical drink, and a picture of a cruise ship. 🤣

am I the only one who is sort of disappointed that the solarium is being merged with an entertainment venue? I am worried that they have compromised the relaxing atmosphere of the space with infrastructure for performances.
No, you're not. I hope it ends up being a good idea.

Was it Silver Airlines? We made the mistake of flying out of Miami on Silver and although the flight was through United, they did not offer TRA Pre or free bags for United Premier members. They are number one, ahead of Frontier and American, on airlines I will not fly.
No - Delta! We were rather surprised, but we will always check from now on.

My page is showing interior cabins as sold out, and ocean view has only two cabins available, forward on Deck 10. Only ocean view balconies, none with interior views.
