  1. Totally agree, Honfleur is fabulous to visit
  2. We had the same, we were dining in Manfredis and the executive chef came to see us about an issue we raised about the pool grill, it was a simple point about where they were cooking the vegetarian burgers, great service.
  3. My understanding is that it’s all year, varying with changing seasons
  4. Great selection of hotels, stayed in all but the one in abode, Jockey Club is great, if you like Indian food there is a great one round the corner, don’t be put off by the frontage. The walk down the corridor to breakfast with all the pictures is really interesting, enjoy.
  5. If you have an hour or two in London, this is spectacular https://www.hrp.org.uk/tower-of-london/whats-on/superbloom-at-the-tower-of-london/#gs.6ibxua
  6. Luton, Stanstead and Southend are predominantly for package holiday flights, some flights into City from New York, I would say its 95% plus likely that it will be Heathrow or Gatwick
  7. Another excellent reason to avoid said line. An ill fitting dinner suit with gravy stains is acceptable as "proper dress" but a beautifully cut linen suit with an open neck shirt isn't.
  8. They are and we have no plans currently to look at other cruise lines, clock ticking to January and our next one.
  9. Sorry to read this, hope you are both feeling better soon
  10. We did this several years ago, grabbed a taxi at the port to take us there, he checked if we had a booking, waited for us and then gave us an hour tour and dropped us in Valetta, easy walk back to the ship or you an get a lift up/down for the Upper Baraka Gardens
  11. We used Express Test for a cruise that we embarked on 12 days ago, would not hesitate to us e them again, local locations and results back on time
  12. I totally agree with your sentence about testing, I was very anti before our trip, but various comments from those on board and others since have convinced me that I was wrong and the testing works for the vast majority.
  13. The dogs curled up and dozed and we just chatted about cruises past and present and the challenges of the last few years, The always excellent service went up several notches.
  14. Thanks for the update JD, yet again demonstrates that Viking are a "class act" We spent about an hour talking to Karine as we left Majorca, she was wandering outside with the dogs and stopped to chat, next minute she was seated and the wine was out. Viking wanted the trip to be both a celebration and closure for everyone. They certainly hit the mark in our eyes
  15. Weather is glorious and a great atmosphere on board, the Hagen family have both given interesting, personal and at times moving presentations today, it’s going well
  16. it’s the Chairman’s invitation cruise, post Viking Sky
  17. On board Saturday week, 21st May, can’t wait
