  1. @Quartzsite CruiserSorry to hear about your DH's blood clots....prayers that all goes well. Sorry to hear about the storm and uncertainty it's causing in Florida, more prayers.
  2. Good morning! Thanks for all of the info and pictures. Prayers for those that need them, and cheers for celebrations! Hoping everyone on a cruise, or getting ready for one has a great and safe time! I'm part of our church quilting group. We make quilts for our homebound people, baptisms and other charities. I'm getting quilts ready for the homebound people. 16 people were added to the list this year. I'm also in a group of basket weavers - we make christmas baskets and fill them with goodies for Nursing Home residents in the area...my "community service!" We're taking 2 grands shopping today, the 7 year old is choosing her birthday present! Then lunch somewhere, another fun day with them. Have a great day, Karen
  3. Bon Voyage! I'm looking for excursion tips, we're going on the Eurodam in the new year! Have fun!😊

  5. @StLouisCruisers, @JazzyVSometimes it's just hard to understand why things happen... @kochleffelSwedish Meatballs would be another good choice!
  6. Hello everyone, hugs to all who need them, and cheers to everyone celebrating birthdays and other happy events. The last 2 weeks have had lots of information overload here. The Waukesha Christmas Parade massacre trial has been going on. We were at the parade and our granddaughter was in the parade with her dance team. They were early in the parade and the killing started about 1/2 way through the parade. We were leaving just as the guy started driving his car through the route. (about a block from where we were.) We didn't hear about it until we got home, but our daughter did see a police officer running towards the parade route. You can't turn on the news without hearing about trial details here...it's very upsetting to hear those details... I'm in a church group that takes meals to those who need them. Meatloaf has become my "go-to" meal...I figure it's family/kid friendly, and who doesn't like meat loaf? 😉 This thread can help with some of the bad things we are dealing with. Everyone is so helpful and caring! Have a great rest of your day. Karen
  7. Nice pictures! That quilt shop was on my list of things to do when we went to Alaska.
