So I added it online this morning, but then I got an email from Norwegian that my credit card was declined, but the package was not removed. Calling customer service was less than helpful so now I have an email in to my TA to help figure out what is going on. I'm before final payment, but if they are going to just add it to your invoice then why request payment online?

Is the charge to upgrade added to your invoice or is this paid immediately similar to booking/paying for a shore excursion?

I have apparently stumped NCL representatives on this one. If I book additional specialty dining, internet, free at sea plus upgrade, etc and then have to cancel last minute are those charges automatically refunded or am I still liable for them? We are more familiar with Royal Caribbean where anything purchased in the cruise planner is automatically refunded if you are unable to go on the cruise, but apparently nobody at NCL knows the answer to this question. This is for the purpose of buying travel insurance and wanting to make sure I am not over buying or under buying the insurance.

I'm not overly familiar with MSC's policies and I swore they previously had something in place due to covid, but I know a lot of that is changing or being removed now. If you are past final payment and selected a bella category, are you eligible for a price adjustment, OBC, or an upgrade without a fee? This is in the United States. I know that from reading through some of these threads that customer service is hit or miss, so I was hoping to get the real answer before potentially spending a lot of time on the phone and being told no to all of the above.

Has anyone done either of these excursions through Celebrity? The first one apparently goes to both Paraga & Super Paradise Beach, but the details do not elaborate on the length of time at each spot, if a sun lounger is included, etc The second one appears to only go to Elia Beach. I couldn't find much on either excursion (plenty of information about the beaches themselves, but not the excursions) and would love to hear any feedback from anyone who has done either.

Looking at an MSC cruise out of Rome summer 2023. The current promotions seem to include the easy plus ➕️ wifi package, but the cruises in May or June seem to be cruise only. Is this a European thing or am I missing something?

So no website to view flight options in advance and no free changes from what it seems? Unless I'm missing something, it appears you are just calling to make your airfare reservations which could be a massive challenge given the number of flights, airlines, layovers, etc.

We will be on Norwegian Escape next year with a stop in Puerto Plata. The waterfalls caught my eye, but a lot of the posts on here are understandably outdated due to covid. From what I can see, both Iguana Mama and Marysol Tours are recommended. Are there any other local tour companies that you would suggest? Has anyone used both and preferred one over the other? It looks like Norwegian also offers the tour at a competitive price. Does the cruise line option limit you in some way compared to one of the local tour companies?

Ove the past year we have used Royal's Air2Sea (twice) and Celebrity's Flights by Celebrity to book airfare. With both (same company I know) they currently allow you to defer payment until final payment date and most flights (not all) have the option to change/cancel/modify/etc without any fees/penalties up until final payment date. This is in addition to the substantially discounted rates they offer, at least from our experience. We currently have a cruise booked on Norwegian for Summer 2024 in Europe (i know a long ways away) and was curious if Norwegian had a similar program in place. I know they offer the different promotions for airfare, but I'm specifically looking for something that would allow you to control your own flight choices and how that compares to Royal/Celebrity. If you booked your flights through Air2Sea and you have to cancel due to testing positive for covid pre-boarding, are the flights also fully refundable? I may have missed it on the website, but I only saw the part about cruise fare.

I don't know the WHY, but I do know that you should reach out to them to get it fixed. When we went on Allure in March, we had 4 rooms linked together and somehow in the process it disconnected me from my room and no longer showed the "My Sailing". It prevented me from being able to make any reservations onboard or complete the muster drill. After standing in line forever at guest services, they took me over to the internet person who was quick to realize that I had been disconnected from my room. She was able to update it and everything worked fine, but a big waste of time on the first day.

How does this impact the free offers people were getting even without hitting the 800 point mark? For example, my friend got just over 100 points on a sailing back in November and received free room offers every month up until the point reset in April. Will they be going to ONLY offering free rooms to those that hit the point thresholds? Or will people still potentially receive free offers even without hitting those numbers? I'm not familiar with the "old way" of doing things so I have nothing to compare it to.

We are coming in July for a one night stay before the cruise. We get in early afternoon and the plan was to get to the hotel, probably eat/sightsee a little bit and then head to the Mariners game later in the day. The following morning (Friday) we were going to get up early and walk around Pike Market Place before heading to the pier. Our flight home doesn't leave until late night the day we disembark so our plan was to see the space needle and surrounding area that day. We are currently booked at the Hyatt Regency as it got good reviews and was reasonably priced ($250) compared to other hotels. Is there much to walk to for sightseeing/food/beverage near the Hyatt Regency? Are we reasonable walking distance to public transportation (arriving from airport, going to/from Mariners game, etc)? Are we reasonable walking distance to/from Pike Market Place for a Friday morning visit? Are all of these areas in safer parts of Seattle in terms of walking around, including at night when coming back from the Mariners game? If not, certainly open to other suggestions in a similar price range. Thanks!

Very curious to see where else you would suggest. We have been to Nachi numerous times, but considering skipping it this next go round. We looked at Mr. Sanchos & Paradise, but if we were to go that route, we would probably just go back to Nachi since we feel it's a better value and not crowded.

We are looking at organizing a slot pull and had a few questions that hopefully the group can assist with. In terms of working with the casino host, how do you get in contact with them before the cruise? Or can you only get in contact with them onboard? Are they available upon boarding or only once the casino opens? Do they typically proactively offer freebies or do you need to ask for them? What participation do they have in the actual event? I understand that taxes are reported if you hit a payout exceeding $1,199, but does the slot pull stop at that point to get paid out? Or do you continue play until the slot pull is over and then figure out the tax reporting? If it's stopped at that point and paid out immediately, do you then deduct the 24% for taxes and put everything else back into the machine to continue play? Do they figure the 24% strictly on the total win, or do they factor in the profit? Do they withhold for you or just provide the tax reporting form? What's your best game to hopefully win big on with $5 max bets?

We were looking at booking a sailing for December and happened to see 10%, 20%, & 30% off rewards through MyVegas. I read through the terms and conditions and they are extremely vague outside of having to book with MSC. Does anyone have any recent experience with one of these discounts? Are you still eligible for all promotions including the additional Voyagers Club discounts? Can you transfer to a TA after booking? Is there a group at MSC you can contact to get actual pricing, promotions, blackout dates, etc? Any help is appreciated.
