Yet the RCL shareholders have doubled their share price in the last year. I should feel sorry for them why why why ???...

While the stock may have doubled in the last year, those hanging on for the long term are still nowhere near the pricing just prior to the crash. Those shareholders are still at a 33% loss.

In the dining room you can get coffee, tea, water, milk (maybe)? In the morning there is water, tea, coffee, milk and an array of fruit juices - I usually ask for a V8. 🙂

several juices at breakfast, usually orange & apple, after which juice drink blends, iced tea, & lemonade take over in the dispensers in the buffet
milk, (soy milk, and usually oat or almond milk can be found at the buffet)
That's today. With all the changes an upcharges, who knows what's going to be included tomorrow.😂

one nice thing about BLU is that you can easily get entrees not buried in sauces..on the side is an option or none..
sorry this is OFF TOPIC!
This is the case even in the MDR. I have done this many times.

From a recent "enhancement" to my cruise itinerary where I lost a day and 2 ports with no reduction or additional OBC.

Hello! I searched the Celebrity forum using my title terms but could not find a quick answer. We are about to book a Veranda cabin on the Equinox...deck 6 or 7. I've read somewhere that the smoking area outdoors is on Deck 5 forward and starboard side. However a YouTube video from a year ago of Veranda cabin 6241 (mid-ship port side) shows the guests were given a credit as they were unable to use their balcony due to them not being able to use their balconies as they were above the smoking area on the port side.
Is there anyone who was on the Equinox recently who can confirm where the Deck 5 smoking area is? Port or Starboard? Forward or midship? This will help me choose our cabin well. Thanks LOTS!Get a cabin on the starboard side to avoid the smoke wafting up. If you go deck 8 and up, port side is also OK.

Let me guess. There was no reduction in the cruise fare?

The downside of early booking is you stand a greater chance of your cruise itinerary being changed, removed, or chartered, leaving you scrambling for alternatives. That said, I still book as early as I can.

You are upgrading your single device to premium in one offer, and upgrading your single device as well as adding a second device on the same account in the other offer.

Hi everyone!
I am going on a cruise with my family, 4 cabins.
We all booked Aqua Class (planning to dine at Blu).
I want to place a bid on the move up program for the Edge Villa. Will I have access to Blu restaurant, or will I lose access to it? From what I read, Edge Villa doesn’t include the option to dine in Blu based on availability, but it does include Complimentary Specialty Dining. I wonder if Blu could be consider as Specialty Dining.
My objective is to upgrade to Edge Villa and continue to dine at Blu with the rest of my family, would it be possible?
Thanks for your help!
Blu is limited to Aqua.
Blu is not considered a specialty dining venue.

With the new Starlink wifi, Zoom/Facetime will work no problem.
Except in some stretches of a Panama cruise. There were some poor/ non-existant reception areas in April, but moreso on the west side.

All I have to say is that so many changes and complaints since the CEO left for another position in the company. Bring back Lisa.
You can never be sure where or who had a hand in starting the implementation of these changes. It could be the new CEO taking the hit for things started by her predecessor.

I think some of the music charters are adults only? I could be mistaken…
But that is at the request of the charterer and not Celebrity as such.

This may be their way to thwart those who do placeholder bookings to keep the OBC.

The notice for my reservation reflected a decrease. Stops in Nassau and Bimini. Reduced from $149.06/pp to $145.90/pp.
At least one of those two ports must have implemented a decrease.
Not likely Nassau. That's my only stop there.

All S class connecting doors are a small vestibule in the hallway. Nothing in the cabin.

First time in my life that Celebrity will refund tax and port fee money. Several times in my reservations the taxes and port fees are higher than the current price. We have even skipped a port several times and they have not refunded us a penny
Dear Guest,
The Bahamian government has implemented a change to their departure tax amounts for all cruise guests visiting the Bahamas on or after January 1, 2024. As a result, we will be updating your reservation with the new amount.
Your adjusted taxes and fees will reflect on your booking before your final payment due date. Bookings are being updated in phases, based on the sailing date. Your original and new tax amounts are displayed below for your convenience. There is nothing for you to do, we just wanted to keep you informed!
We realize this is an unexpected charge and apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you onboard.
Sincerely,
Celebrity CruisesReturn?? My email for Mar 21 went from $156 to $191 CAD per person.

Departing for Alaska on the Solstice in two weeks, and I was excited to get what I thought was a move-up offer email. Instead, it's the opposite.
We're writing to let you know that, due to a rare inventory error, your scheduled sailing is currently oversold in certain stateroom categories.
If you would be willing to volunteer to move to a different stateroom type, you may be able to take advantage of a special resolution offer. The offer is a move from Veranda stateroom to Veranda stateroom with obstructed view for a $500 refund. Since this is our first trip to Alaska, we've decided to keep our original stateroom.
What would you do?
I had an offer similar to that, but worse, on my Panama trip in April. They offered me about the same amount to go from Prime Verandah to inside. Needless to say I ignored that offer.

Yes, sister ships.

Nothing wrong with that cabin. Personally, I would take the one on either side of that one because I like the bed by the bath.
