  1. There's no limits whatsoever. PERIOD. The timeslots are meant for reserving spa treatments and should be totally disregarded when booking a Thermal suite pass, whether for one day or whole cruise. Just choose any time slot when buying the spa pass pre-cruise. It's totally meaningless.
  2. Deluxe porthole veranda. It's one of two non suite cabins with an actual separate balcony.
  3. Just be aware that you with multi device plans you use the same login and password. So if you want to share the plan with someone else that's not an issue, they just have to login with the same wi-fi account info as you.
  4. A valid discussion is why hasn't their been a change in the mix of cabins between the IV and traditional balcony cabins. Since there's sky suites mixed among IV cabins and even MSC has a mix of cabin types that includes the IV cabin I don't think it's a structural limitation for this ship class. If that's the case then the cabin type mix is soley a business driven decision, not an engineering limitation.
  5. They will NEVER do that for the sole reason is that you're forgetting that it's all an indoor room. Just because Celebrity wants to call it an outdoor room don't mean it is. What you're proposing is already done; it's your traditional balcony. A traditional balcony has drains and is weatherproofed since it's a separate room that's sealed from the elements and the cabin itself.
  6. Here's a video where it shows the two chrome pegs in the shower stall.
  7. There are two little chrome pegs in lieu of a clotheslines. That's probably what you hung your clothes on.
  8. I attached a video with it starting right where it shows the shower/tub in a Sky Suite on the Apex. NO clothesline.
  9. I you sure about that? I find it hard to believe they would put clotheslines in the shower stall in an OV cabin but not in the IV or Sky Suites. I've been on all three E-Class ships and none of the shower stalls had clotheslines, including the Beyond.
  10. You will not find ballroom dancing on any E-Class ships. Having said that there are three venues where dancing can/will occur; The Club, Grand Plaza, and Eden. The best place you may find a more traditional partner dance will be at the Grand Plaza. Sometimes they will feature a Jazz trio. The Club will be DJ music. All three venues may/will host the Silent Disco dance parties.
  11. No clotheslines in Sky Suites in E-Class ships. Best way to dry swim suits is on the chairs on the balcony.
  12. If you read my comment I acknowledge that other companies haven't utilized the IV concept to the extent that Celebrity does, but they have these kinds of cabins nonetheless.
  13. Not entirely correct. Other cruiselines haven't designed ships utilizing the IV concept to the EXTENT that Celebrity did. Sister cruiseline Royal Caribbean has IV cabins on their newest and largest cruiseship in the world, Icon of the Seas. And MSC has it on their newest ship design the World Europa.
  14. It does have a SMALL whirlpool in the middle of the thermal suite that that fits about 4-5 people.
  15. Just to clarify a Spa cabin keycard opens the door to the entire thermal suite which includes the heated tile loungers, non heated chairs, a small whirlpool, communal shower, 2 steam rooms and a salt room infrared sauna. An infrared sauna is a different technology from your traditional sauna and works just like an infrared space heater you might have at home. You have to sit right in front of one of the many heaters to have the heat radiate on your back and thus warming up your whole body. There's a traditional Swedish sauna that's coed and available to everyone that's not located in the thermal suite but right outside the women's and men's spa locker rooms.
  16. Thank you. I went ahead and reserved a 2:55pm fight on Brussels Air which lands in Rome at 5:00pm. I spent $249 for 2 people, booking it on with a 3rd party company (hopper) and it includes a checked bag and allows me to make free changes through the 3rd party company. I was debating whether to take an earlier flight from Schiphol (AMS) 11:55-2:10 (FCO) on ITA which would have costed $430 total for 2. In the end I went with the less expensive but further from Rotterdam flight. The good thing is I can change our minds later and switch to a Schiphol flight assuming the flights are available and not wildly more expensive.
  17. So you call your bedroom window at home a balcony when it's open?
  18. Yes, of course. Remember, there's no such thing as outside, you're always inside. The bifold doors act as a room divider, nothing more. Again, the cabin is a window cabin with the bifold doors acting as a room divider to create the illusion of a separate room. But it's never a separate room. It's always the same room whether the bifold doors are open or closed. Celebrity is brainwashing people into thinking an open window and a room divider can magically create an outdoor room. It's nonsense.
  19. You're somewhat correct. No, it's not a balcony at all. But it's not an extension to the room, it's the room with the last three feet make to look like a balcony.
  20. That's totally incorrect and a boldface lie. The only time the captain closes and locks the windows is during window washing and when it's raining. PERIOD.
  21. The Edge Class is the basically the Quantum Class WITHOUT all the doodads
  22. Juice blends aren't available at dinnertime in the MDR. Last month on the Solstice the Iced Tea at the buffet was sweet tea and it was disgusting. I don't know when Celebrity changed to sweet tea or if it's fleetwide but it was never sweet tea before this year.
  23. Not by much. By the book on Chic Night, which is the revised more casual version of formal night, it's suggested men were a button shirt or sweater. No jacket is required. But jeans are still allowed on Chic Night BY THE BOOK. In practice you can wear a polo shirt on Chic night and you'll NEVER be turned away from the MDR. I just sailed my 24th Celebrity cruise last month so I'm pretty sure of what's allowed and what's not.
