  1. You would probably need to request from your room attendant bedsheet changes for a 4 nt cruise. PLEASE don't request Nightly sheet changes. That's not really nice.
  2. Yes, I should have mentioned the Retreat Sundeck Bar as an alternative to the the Lounge. I don't remember their hours though and whether they're open evenings duplicating the indoor lounge.
  3. My husband is the gambler in the family but usually we'll play his promotional slot play together so I can help him 'keep' his winnings. We'll do a mental count of the winnings and hit cash out whenever it totals more than $10-$15.
  4. I thought it was about a Celebrity Enrichment Art history lecture on the appearance of the Vanishing Point to create depth in paintings.
  5. It would be extremely odd for Celebrity to backtrack on this whole issue for E-Class ships.
  6. That's a different question which I don't have the answer to. What's more circumspect is the Crystalarium. What does this room do?
  7. What you should do is on embarkation speak with the Maitre De at Luminae and discuss your wife's dietary concerns and see if and how they can accommodate her. If they seem unwilling then as others have suggested you can always dine in Blu and the other Mdrs on the nights where the menu isn't suitable. With regards to pre-dinner drinks, the Retreat Lounge is a very inviting space with couches, chairs and banquets as seating areas. There's servers who will take your drink orders and bring you your requested drinks. Then there's the snack mini buffet which will have cheese and assorted snacks where you can have a nice aperitivo before dinner.
  8. The 44.11 mins. mark is where he tours the Retreat Lounge.
  9. A screenshot of the bar at the Retreat Lounge on the Apex
  10. No and No. The Retreat Lounge has a Bar that you can STAND at, but there's no counter overhand and no stools. It's location doesn't lend itself to seating since it's located along a hallway to the restrooms. Whatsmore, the bar functions more like a service bar and TBH I don't see why anyone would want to stand and lean there for any longer than watching your drink being made when there's comfortable chairs six feet away.
  11. Are you alum? Class of '83 here. It always seemed like a futuristic self-contained city a la Logans Run to me. Then of course you have NY's version of Brasília that is Empire State Plaza.
  12. The majority of the time I do printout the paper airline boarding pass, even though I check in on my phone. There's less issues with the scanners reading paper than the phone screen. No need to adjust brightness, paper can't turn off by mistake. I was on 11 trips needing air last year, 10 cruises, away over 125 days, so as a frequent traveler I really do find paper better than phone.
  13. TBH sometimes it's EASIER to have the pass printed. I could understand if one only had to show the app, but that's not the case. You still need to have your passport available. What we do is printout the boarding pass and it's in with the passport. Previously when we had to show covid tests we would have the test results stapled behind the printed boarding pass inside the passport. Mind you I do EVERYTHING on my phone, but in this case paper trumps the phone. The phone can be away in my backpack, so one thing less to put away when you go through the security scan.
  14. IT doesn't matter what is sent to you. What Celebrity sent to you with regard to CURRENT E-Class ships is patently false. Currently, the E-Class ships are running full anytime dining. Whatsmore, I'm speaking from experience, not just as an armchair traveler. My parents was booked into Early set dining on the Beyond, and when we all boarded the Beyond on 10/26/22 it was confirmed that there's no set early or late seating. All the current trip reports on E-Class ships on Cruise Critic confirm this dining room status. It is correct we have no idea what the Ascent will do when it premiers, nor do we know if Celebrity will change back to a choice of Set early and late seatings or anytime will occur at some latter date on E-Class ships. But to say that currently there's no change to dinner seating choices on E-Class ships is just false.
  15. If a particular dining table location isn't suitable for you for whatever reason one should request whether there's another table elsewhere. We routinely do this whether on a cruise or a land based restaurant. It isn't being difficult or demanding, you're the customer. The worst they can say is there isn't any other table available. The best is you are seated at a table that enhances your dining experience instead of detracting from it.
  16. As a workaround if you want something printed just take a screenshot of the Xpress Pass on the App and print that out.
  17. Thank you for this trip report. If you wouldn't mind could you report whether the situation in the attached photos has changed. I think this is deck 3 right outside the restaurants. There is obviously furniture and/or artwork that is missing. For a ship that's designed and decorated in every nook and cranny this space is just WIERD. It's as if they just threw a few chairs there because what was supposed to be there is either damaged or never arrived. And if this is supposed to be like that, why so few seats and why placed in such an awkward manner? Just curious if anything's changed since November to this space. Thanks!
  18. Interesting. On our 10/26 Beyond sailing the hours for those venues were 8:00-9:30 on seadays. I wonder why the half hour shift earlier?
  19. Although it technically is a listed benefit, they aren't honoring it. There is supposed to be a SBC in lieu of it.
  20. Incorrect, it's already been established with many posts that the E-Class ships are all anytime dining.
  21. I'm unclear by your statement of being assigned a 6pm dinner at Blu. There's no assigned dining times at Blu. And for the record, I was in Aquaclass on the Beyond in the October 26th sailing. So I'm not quite sure what you're referring to in your post can you elaborate?
  22. No weird laws and you still get a W2G Tax form with jackpots over $1,200. Everything is the same.
