I haven’t even seen them listed in the cruise compass for the current sailing or the past two.
In September we were able to book the comedy show prior to boarding.
BTW, are there comedy shows on the Anthem??

A few years ago we ate rooftop
at the Hotel Milano. A few blocks from the pier, great mojitos, and good PR food(medium pricing). The rooftop eating area has great views of the city and the port area, but is not large. Check it out!

Why is there no option to book a comedy show on Oasis (Jan 14)? That’s the show you need reservations for the most.
Also, checking the current compass for oasis there is no comedy show listed. Did oasis stop doing comedy shows?
We were on oasis in Sept, they had 2 comedians who were very good. We were able to reserve pre-cruise

We are on the Jan.7th Anthem sailing. No entertainment available to book

They're still dropping Cape Canaveral next week. And the Jan 7 next year dropped a port as well.
You’re wrong about the Jan 7 cruise, where does this info originate??

They'll be gone
But some of the Caribbean ports may still have some up
I've seen the port area in St Maarten still decorated in mid January.
Thanks

Anyone know when they take th decorations down? We sail on 1/7/24

Has anyone done this excursion recently? Ultimate Beach Experience: Orient Beach Escape with Lunch
What are your thoughts? We like a longer beach day & this one is 4.5 hours.....some are only 2 hours 😞 Thanks! Kris
I would walk to the taxi stand, go to Orient, rent chairs and an umbrella, have lunch, stay as long as you’d like, and grab a taxi back to the ship. Very easy and you’ll save money!!

The ship excursion is convenient and worth the few extra $s

Cruising on March 11th from la roma. Suggestions for A hotel for 1 night? We are flying into punta Cana. What are transportation options from punta Cana airport to la Roma?
Casa de Campo is 1/2 mile away. Won’t be cheap in March but it is beautiful

Has Kakao reopened since the hurricane?
-
Is the Marriott still $50pp with no reservation required? We’ll be there in mid-January.

Does the Anthem have anything like the Vitality cafes serving smoothies, juices, etc?

I got the same notice a couple of months ago about our 1/7/24 11 night Anthem cruise. Same bs, now going to only 4 ports instead of the usual 5 ports. They want to make our guest experience better. What's the chance of getting some,OBC to compensate?
We are on this same cruise and haven’t heard anything about dropping a port. Just got our final invoice yesterday and it’s showing the same 5 original ports????

Thank you for your response rjrpar. Would love to spend more time at VCB, but husband has a medical condition that prevents that. As first time to Antigua, just need to know how to get from cruise ship to Valley Church beach. Did you just hail a taxi?
We have been there 3 times. Just used a taxi from the port area, there are signs. Don’t remember the price but it was about $8pp each way. The Nest restaurant is nice for lunch

Hello fellow cruisers! We are arriving into Antigua on Symphony of the Seas on 2 Jan 2024. RCCL offers no shore excursions of interest. My husband and I just want to spend 3-4 hours at Valley Church Beach that day. I don't know whether to grab a taxi when we get off ship or arrange a private tour to stop at several beaches.
Appreciate any suggestions....Thank you and have a blessed day.

If you just want to spend 3-4 hrs at VCB, why are you thinking of a tour? We have always enjoyed VCB

We kinda narrowed down our next cruise to either...
1. Jewel OTS Grand Suite for 6 nights out of San Juan to Ft. Lauderdale. Stops are Philipsburg, St. Maarten ... Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas ... and Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevisat. We would have to get a 1 way flight to San Juan (which isn't that big a deal) and our son would just pick us up at Ft Lauderdale. (We live in Sarasota, Florida)
2. Odyssey OTS Ocean View Balcony for 8 nights out of Ft Lauderdale. Stops are Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas ... Oranjestad, Aruba ... Willemstad, Curacao.
We are in our 50s and it will just be my wife and I cruising. We like the casino, bingo, eating and going to a few shows. We like hanging in our cabin relaxing also on the balcony. We have never been to any of these ports including San Juan PR. Thank you so much for any advise you can offer. 🙂
#2, an easy choice for us.

Looking for a 4-6 hr. lunch cruise with a small group, (10-15 guests) for our January port stop. Barbados has several offerings but I haven’t seen any in St. Kitts. Thanks in advance for any help.

Can you share prices for a 7 day cruise?

I think you misread his response. Should have been very happy

We are flying into PIE and looking for a 2 night pre cruise stay. Don’t care about staying by the beach but would like a vibrant area with restaurants, bars, etc
Thanks in advance
