  1. Could you be more specific about this comment? We'll be on the Constellation in the next sailing, and I'd like to know what to expect, in order to be better prepared. Thanks in advance.
  2. I'm sailing in a week on the Constellation. This will be my first cruise since the pandemic, thus not familiar with the changes that have taken place at Celebrity. I seem to recall, pre-pandemic, that Sushi on 5 had the full menu at lunch time, but it has been four years, so I'm not 100% sure.
  3. The Celebrity app for my sailing indicates that Sushi on Five has an abbreviated menu for lunch and a full menu for dinner. Is the app correct? If so, I'll be disappointed, as I'm planning on having lunch there, but I'm interested in items that apparently are only available in their full dinner menu.
  4. BTW Celebrity is still offering their Black Friday sales on shore excursions, in case you are interested in those.
  5. I see that your sailing is no longer shown in the results when searching for cruises on the website. Have you tried contacting Celebrity and see what they have to say? I agree with you, when I booked GTY in the past, cabin assignment does not take long. Sorry I'm unable to offer any further insight at the moment. Hope you'll get a cabin assignment soon and will have a wonderful vacation!

  7. If you have a cell phone and the Celebrity app installed, you can change the sailing to VintageCheap's sailing and have access to all menus, from all restaurants, for the entire duration of the cruise. I assume that the app is accurate.

  10. For Royal Suites, it is stated that guests receive "Unlimited lunch and dinner in all specialty restaurants". 1. My assumption is that the entire menu at Sushi-On-Five is included; if my assumption is incorrect, what is not covered? 2. At Tuscan Grille, are the surcharges for the items in "Something Special" applicable, or are they waived? Thanks in advance for your clarification.
  11. When are the formal nights on this itinerary? It will be much appreciated if you can share an image of the Celebrity TODAY showing the evening attire for the entire cruise. Thanks in advance!
  12. Yes. The cost depends on the length of your cruise. I'd suggest you do a mock booking and include WIFI to determine the cost on your itinerary.
  13. When you complete your online check-in on the Celebrity website, there is an option to select your preferred check-in time. As the check-in time slots get filled, availability is adjusted.
  14. At the moment, 6102, 6118 and 6119 are available in your category on your sailing. Just call Celebrity and ask to change your suite. When I've done it in the past, it took just 5 minutes. No hassle, as long as the change is for a different cabin in the same category. Happy sailing!
  15. The MDR menus and quality has dropped significantly, based on accounts shared here in CC. Apparently there has been minimal changes to the Luminae menus. Please correct me if I'm mistaken. How has the quality of the food in Luminae fared since August 2023?
  16. Thanks for the instructions. I was not aware how to change the app to a different sailing. It is interesting that even for the current sailing of the Connie, only the dinner menus at Luminae are available in the app. No breakfast or lunch menus available.
  17. Based on what I'm reading in CC, apparently the Luminae menus were updated around August 2023. Can anyone share the new menus? I only found a picture of the new breakfast menu, but nothing else. The Celebrity app is not showing any menus for my sailing yet.
  18. Hey there, Ray and Steve! Thom and Brian here, from Ontario, Canada. I was going to start a roll call for this cruise, but glad to see that you got it going! If I'm not mistaken, this cruise starts on December 10, right? What are your plans for shore excursions? I have not started looking into them yet. If you are interested in doing private tours, as opposed to ship tours, let me know! Thom
  19. In my personal experience, the staff at Luminae is capable of addressing food allergies and dietary restrictions. My spouse is vegan, and a conversation with the chef on the first day of the cruise ensures that my spouse's needs are addressed for the remainder of the cruise.
