  1. I didn’t have much luck getting a surprise pre-planed, but I get the online agents are probably limited in what they can offer. Definitely contact them and let them know, that way your rockstar agent onboard is aware and you can work with them on plans. The online contract has been super helpful for minor questions and solving a few issues. You can contact your agent at redgloveservice@virginvoyages.com Since we are getting close to our sail date I reached out to see if I could work out a surprise for our anniversary. I had hoped for a little more engagement since our anniversary is the day we board. They did note the date, and they might have a surprise for us, but they do not offer “traditional celebration packages “. The rest of the recommendations were all suggestions we could get once on board.
  2. Definitely agree. I might consider doing a B2B since Valiant Lady is only in Caribbean in the winter.
  3. I remember some folks having issues with the bands when VV first started sending them out. The up side of getting your bands at the port is you know they work. It would be pretty cool to get them in advance.
  4. The ticket agent when you check in could tell you, guest services on board could also let you know. With VV it’s a bit difficult to guess ahead of time, other cruise lines you could browse available cabins to get an idea how many available cabins there are. Travel agents might have some better visibility. You can call and see if you can move reservations or check with the restaurants as soon as you board. The 6-7 window for dinner is ideal if you’re looking to catch some of the evening events, it’s also the first time slots to book up.
  5. Some of our local restaurants have you scan a QR code at your table and you then do your ordering from the phone. It does feel a bit impersonal but it’s extremely efficient. It would be a nice option to have on VV.
