  1. Can't help with an email address sorry, as I'm from the UK, but Voyager's club points are (in my experience) normally assigned 7-10 days after disembarkation.
  2. We bid on a Premium Suite Aurea from a Fantastica balcony in May 23 on a Fjords cruise and got it for an extra £225.00 per person It was on the Virtuosa - the recessed bunks were great and really made the cabin feel so much more spacious, the balcony was huge in comparison to an aft or starboard one - plus the views of the wake, it was well worth the extra £££'s 😉
  3. ES - it's the Premium Suite Aurea. Coscab - we had one on the Grandiosa's sister ship Virtuosa last year and had no noise issues from the occupants next door - the recessed bunks were great and really made the cabin feel so much more spacious, the balcony was huge in comparison to an aft or starboard one - plus the views of the wake, it was well worth the extra £££'s 😉
  4. Yes the Grandiosa, our upgrade offer was only for the YC Balcony or Duplex Suite with Whirlpool
  5. Sorry to resurrect an old thread again, but some peeps may find this of interest. So yesterday I had an upgrade offer for our Oct 8th Cruise - 79 days out and final payment not being due until 6th August - we have a YIN booked and minimum bid was £530.00pp for a yacht club balcony or £1,595.00pp for a YC Duplex Suite with Whirlpool. We're not going to put a bid in as we need to try the YIN to see if it's something we can 'live' with (first world problems hey 🤣)
  6. I'm not 100% sure sorry KKB, but the way I read it that would be a no
  7. Unfortunately casino spend doesn't count towards Voyagers Club points... How to collect points Each time you cruise with us, you will earn points to upgrade your membership level. You can collect points based on the type of MSC Experience purchased, onboard services prepaid before the cruise and onboard expenses. Points are credited at the end of the cruise, approximately ten days after the disembarkation date. Take a look at more details below. MSC Experience purchased Experience Cruise under 6 days / 5 nights Cruises from 6 to 10 days / 5 to 9 nights Cruises of more than 10 days - 9 nights Bella 200 points 500 points 700 points Fantastica 400 points 700 points 1000 points Aurea 600 points 1000 points 1500 points MSC Yacht Club 800 points 1500 points 2000 points As of May 27 2019, members who book a Voyages Selection departure will be credited double membership points for the type of Experience chosen. Points will be assigned at the end of the cruise. Onboard services prepaid before the cruise: you earn 100 points every 150 €/$ on expenses made before the cruise on MSC packages and services included in the cruise booked*. Onboard expenses: you earn 100 points for every 150 €/$ spent on board, excluding casino expenses. Points for onboard expenses (including pre-boarding purchased shipboard credit) will only be assigned to the MSC Voyagers Club cardholder making the final payment. *For currencies other than € euro, the currency conversion on purchase day will apply.
  8. do you know if there are fridges in the junior suites on Explorer 2?
  9. We've done 4 cruises with MSC so far and I've found a few friendly bar tenders each cruise who have been more than happy to give me a few bottles unopened 'for the room'. An early tip and probably more importantly taking the time to chat with them and asking them about themselves has probably helped though
  10. this itinery is a little disconcerting.... Celebrity Millennium - 15 April 2024 | Pure Holidays (pureholidayscruises.co.uk)
  11. The glw and I are on this cruise too Cable, let's hope the weather is kind to us 😉
  12. On our cruise which we board tomorrow, we had the upgrade offer almost a month before final payment was due.
  13. Following as doing this cruise next week. Hope you have a great holiday 😉
  14. That's a cracking bargain - currently priced at £65.00 per person on our sailing later this month
  15. anyone else unable to view the drinks menu's posted by @sidari, or is it just me?
  16. Unfortunately not Execute. Point 18....... 18. All services that have been purchased and / or prepaid before the Winning Bid event for an upgrade in "Aurea" or "Yacht Club" experience will not be refunded if the same service, of the same or higher quality, is included in the new experience resulting from the Winning Bid.
  17. Might be worth pointing Pamela to the acutal upgrade bid t&c's, specifically points 17 & 21. MSC Cruises | Terms and Conditions (plusgrade.com) 17. The Upgrade does not include any additional promotions. Guests whose upgrade bid is accepted will receive the experience level included with their original reservation. The exceptions will be in the case of a Winning Bid in “Aurea” or “Yacht Club” Experience. In these cases, the Guests will also be guaranteed all the benefits relative to the new experience. (I added the bold myself). 21. If the Guest wins an Upgrade to an "Aurea" or "Yacht Club" experience cabin, the original booked experience "Bella" or "Fantastica" will be changed with the new experience "Aurea" or "Yacht Club". The new experience will guarantee to Guests all the benefits related to the "Aurea" or "Yacht Club" experience. Good luck ExeCute 😉
  18. had an upgrade bit accepted today (24 days out from sailing) - initial new booking confirmation showed the cabin change but not the experience. Sent a quick email explaining and new booking confirmation issued within an hour showing the cabin change and experience added under the extras panel (you know where they show the gratuities, obc and drinks etc). Also logged into MSC for me app and it is showing cabin and experience as it now should be since the upgrade.
  19. Sorry to revive an old thread, but it is relevant. So, we're 24 days out from sailing, and I've had a bid accepted - granted it was for the least best of the three choices originally offered (premium suite aurea - the others were grand suite aurea with w/p and Y/C Deluxe Suite). I offered what I was comfortable with paying extra for each based on what I paid for our balcony and what these would have cost at the time - overall got the upgrade for less than half of what it would have cost at time of booking, so for us, happy days!
  20. Following (sort of as we're away for a week from Saturday) but looking forward to your review. We board for our 3rd Virtuosa cruise mid may
  21. Thanks for taking the time to do the reporting @ConnieTact, it's always nice to hear other peoples views/experiences. Can't wait for our trip in May now to see the Fjords, last time on Virtuosa was down to the Canaries so this'll be a different sort of trip
  22. I have an 'aspiration' to experience YC, but atm it is cost prohibitive as we could not cope with an inside, but it is all down to personal preference. We do like to sometimes chill in the cabin or on a balcony, but many folks don't spend much time in them and if that was me I'd go YC Interior
