It gets quite crowded in the evening. I prefer to order off of the menu. Just name an ingredient and tell them to use their imagination. Those are the best.

I can't decide whether or not to go with the cheers program. I would just barely break even, but it would be nice to try new drinks and not think twice about getting a drink.

No, it does not count against your 15 drinks.

On both the Conquest and Fascination I had these drinks counted against my 15.

The GoCCL site also states in the exclusions the following:

All spirits or wine above $10.00 per drink (offered at a 25% discount – drinks count toward the 15 drink total per 24 hour period)

Perhaps this is another inconsistent area in the program.

They could up anchor and go a few miles out to sea. Returning closer to shore for the transfer.

That will not be an option. The ship will remain docked in Cozumel or Nassau and at anchorage in Catalina.

On both of the no-solo supplement cruises I have booked I was able to select my cabin at the lowest possible rate (one under past guest and one under early saver).

You will have cabins above and below you on deck 7.

The eastern side of Cozumel is AMAZING. Such a shame that most cruisers only experience the western side.

Good to know you can pay for the over 10$ drinks difference. Question, apart from the higher end glasses of wine what is the definition of a high end drink? Couple examples/comparison would be dead handy thanks

There are only a couple of liquors on board over $10.00 and it would be debatable I think whether they were considered "high end." The only one I can think of off the top of my head was a tequila.

Based on the OP's statement, the info is anecdotal non-scientific measurements from the reviews he/she has read.

It is a great idea and there seems no compelling reason not to do it. You can book a cruise in about 3 minutes start to finish. No trouble at all.

We will be very excited to stay at Atlantis longer...

Guests will be allowed to enjoy the extended hours in the ports of Cozumel and Nassau, however due to the fact that Catalina is a tender port and tender operations are not available at night, guests must return to the ship as posted onboard well before 1:00AM

Just booked 5 days on the Triumph for $329 (4/26). Got the 1A "inside" room that is actually OV with two windows (room 2445).

Just learned about this room a couple of days ago so thank you to the solo cruisers before me!

I have checked twice now trying to find a cruise with the Single Supplement Sale. Both cruises I have checked out of Galveston from Carnival's single supplement listed on their website, the price is exactly double fopr a solo cruiser. I had been checking on Jan 23rd it is $618 solo & $618 for 2. Just now try the only cruise offer from Galveston and it is $658 for a solo, and when I do a mock booking with 2 people it comes up to $658... :mad:

I just booked the Triumph 5-nighter on April 26 with no solo-supplement. Got the "inside" 1A cabin #2445 that has the two oceanview windows. Can't wait!

It will be harder to find a "truly great deal" in June/July than at other times of the year, but opportunities will present themselves as the time gets closer (~3 months out).

This almost happened to us in Jacksonville as well. My travel companion was able to get his passport overnighted from Seattle for ~$200 to be able to board.

We met some great folks on the bar hop that were local to where we live and we are good friends now. Love the bar hop!
