No but I will say this was by FAR the friendliest crew I have ever had. Multiple other cruisers noticed the same.

Besides, any Conquest review would pale in comparison to the job Sargent_Schultz does!

But if they really are the smaller ones in the desk, I'll be fine. One less thing to pack.

I just disembarked on Sunday. The hair dryer was indeed in the desk.

I booked the 11/30 Fascination sailing on the Conquest last week. $189 for 5-day OV. OBC was cut in half since it is based on double-occupancy I guess.

We missed it due to tendering being unsafe on a November cruise a couple of years ago. Replaced by Freeport (:() but made the best of it!

There are no drinks that are exactly 10.00, but Grey Goose martini's that are 9.95 are included, as well as Patron Silver.

P. Fuissi red wine is exactly $10/glass, and is included under Cheers.

I recall being at a club once and noticing they offered bottle service. $350 for a bottle of Grey Goose to be brought to your booth. :eek:

There have been reports that differ from ship to ship as well as bartender to bartender. All I can do is report on what I have witnessed first hand on our Breeze cruise from January or regurgitate what I feel is appropriate from what I read on CC. ;)

I was able to get shots, which is why I went over the 15 limit one night (well, morning).

Using that logic, they would be unable to serve scotch neat. Which I got as well.

When my family cruises, we like to buy rounds for each other, which is what I'm trying to figure out, if on the Cheers program, can my sister and her husband 'buy' a round for myself and my husband? I don't see it as cheating. We buy each other drinks all the time. It doesn't seem like you can do that with the Cheers program.

Of course they can. However, they will be charged for whatever drink they purchase for you.

Signing a different name won't be a problem but I assume her embarkation picture will pop up.

While I am by no means college-aged anymore, I too am cruising with my bestie this fall... also a "mature aged lesbian." Should be a hoot n' a half!

On a ship or two, the price of the Cheers program has increased to $49.99 (+/-) + tip, it seems.

This is the case on the Victory as it is the only ship with Cheers not doing 7+ day itineraries.

I have a question! For anyone who has been on CONQUEST with Cheers... What I am wondering is, on conquest, what happens when you hit the 15 drink max? Can you purchase beyond it if you are not too drunk or are you cut off regardless? Also, with the program you also get a percent off wines or drinks over $10 or in a souvenir cup. So if I purchase a bottle of wine at dinner, that does NOT count toward my 15 drink max?

On Conquest I was able to purchase drinks at the normal rate when I hit my max. I also ordered a bottle of wine one night at dinner and received the 25% discount. It did not count against the 15 drink maximum.

Depending on what you drink, you would be at the break even point at appox. 8 to 9 drinks in a day.

It does indeed depend on what you drink. I averaged 9/day and saved right around $275.

I like Maho Beach, but DH isn't too interested in having planes fly overhead.

Hotwire usually has deals on NOLA hotels. CBD (central business district) area would be your best bet for affordable and convenient.

In that case make sure HIS favorite drink is included! :)

It is before tip. I had a glass of wine which was exactly $10, and it was free. The LI teas were $8.75, by the way.

I only can speak to what I experienced personally, but I would think that you would, yes.

If you order something over $10, you are not charged the full amount. You are given a 25% discount. This includes items such as bottles of wine, or events such as the martini tasting.

I disliked Jamaica but us and another couple never felt threatened in that way.
