The roughest I have experienced was this past December on the Fascination. I personally love it. :)

There will be future no solo supplement rates.
The GoCCL site updated their list of no supplement sailings on 1/22 and again on 2/6, so maybe there will be updates every 15 days or so?

Also, please be really careful when booking and how you book.. The person at the desk, whom I wont name on the Liberty last week, was giving out so much incorrect information I felt like screaming at her...
I had a somewhat similar experience booking on board the Conquest. I think those folks are trained more in selling the Carnival MasterCard than booking cruises. I just remained patient with her and walked her through the process. :D

The tomato soup is great!
All past guests (red/gold/platinum/diamond) will receive the coupon for a free drink in the MDR.

Love Fascination reviews. :)
Divas is my favorite on-board show. Love the female lead on Fascination!
-
It began on the Fascination on February 3rd.

We had a $10 bar tip "turn into" $100 on our last night on the Conquest. Guest Services promptly corrected it. We assumed it was just a mistake?
I've found the bar manager to be very accessible on the Conquest. He stopped by Alchemy regularly.

We did zip lining through Victor Bodden and afterward told our guide to just give us a general tour. We stopped for lunch, shopping, pharmacy, etc.

You will love the Victor Bodden tour. Couldn't recommend more highly.
And GBO! :D

It's interesting to read of the lengths people go to "protect" their luggage tags. Lots of OCD and paranoia evidenced in this thread! :D
Don't even get me started on how to prevent one of the corners from turning upwards!

I've only played it one time and won on the Spirit out of San Diego a couple of years ago. I figure I'd rather keep a good memory than lose all that money playing and never winning again.
The best though is watching the people scream out Bingo! only to realize it was an "X" bingo, or a cover all. :p

CruiseCritic sells luggage tag holders. They work well but obviously there are many free options as well.

Has anyone sailed on Triumph in room 2444 or 2445 since the drydock? Haven't found any pics of the room after and some are saying there are now two twins on floor and some aren't.
I have 2445 booked on the Triumph in April and would be interested in knowing this as well.
-
I would book a PT again, but not on Riviera deck due to wave noise.
-
How do you find these without doing a mock booking of every cruise?
Kathy
Go to the GoCCL site and click on "Single Occupancy Offer."
-
Yes they do. It is $15. I always utilize it - though on here you will find mixed opinions based on past experiences.

I had always ruled out Galveston in the past due to the higher airfare into Houston. A recent Southwest sale combined with a no-solo supplement offering by Carnival aligned correctly and I am looking forward to a new port and new ship.

Do you sign up right at the Alchemy bar or somewhere else?
Correct. At the Alchemy Bar.
What's the cost for the mixology class? And when is it normally held? Do they hold it more than once?I don't recall the price of it. $17.95-ish? It was held on the last sea day on the Conquest and there was only one class with almost a dozen people on the waiting list.

Older English fellow. Quite mellow. I've enjoyed him several times.

I recall having difficulty adding the floater as well. I told them not to worry about it rather than inquire further.

ETA2: Sorry for trying to help out with answering a question. I apparently have "problems" for drinking so early (insert eye roll here)
We took a limo to the port one morning and took full advantage of the scotch they had in the back! I felt good by the time we reached Lido.
I also got upgraded to 1st class on a 6am flight once... suffice it to say I had more than orange juice on the way to Salt Lake City. :D
-
For all of you Alchemy fans, be sure to sign up for the Alchemy mixology class. It will fill up fast so sign up on night 1. You also get to drink all of your concoctions plus get a coupon for a free Alchemy drink.
-
It will definitely be different from the Conquest but by no means less fun.

i've never had a fosters before this last cruise, and suffice it to say, i saw more fosters EVERYWHERE than i have ANYWHERE ever in my life lol.
lol so true. I would never order it on land but feel like I'm getting a "deal" ordering it on ship.

I've heard a fire drill before but it was "this is a drill alpha team alpha team alpha team..." etc.
