I have a friend who stayed in that room on Mariner and Independence and loved them. The rooms are newer and have IMO better furnishings. The balconies are massive! Room was really quiet too Enjoy your cruise

I love B2B cruises! The whole getting on the ship process (packing, testing, traveling, embarking) is a hassle and I only have to do it once. Turn around day can be a pain but much less so than getting ON the ship. In January we did a B2B on Oasis, western then eastern with CocoCay on both. Week 1 we invested in the shore activities (bar hop in Cozumel, Maya Chan in Costa Maya, monkeys and sloths in Roatan) On the ship we just visited included dining. Week 2 we had the UDP and did very low cost shore activities. Plus we got to see Aqua 80 multiple times. I enjoyed the trip so much I booked myself on a B4B for Oasis in February Another thing about b2b, especially on smaller ships is getting to know the crew.

Izumi is also open for lunches on sea days.

They will generally bring you what you want. I’ve gone twice and both times we received all the apps and desserts we wanted. Also got the surf/turf combo but not sides for both. Tip - order a side of pita bread. The ones that come in the appetizer box was refrigerated and stiff.

Hi @twangster I read this trip report last year and loved your recap. I have a friend booking her 1st cruise and she picked MSC. I sent her this recap then saw that you are having a dispute with MSC. Hate to hear that. I would like to experience MSC’s island one day, all due to what you wrote.

Haven’t sailed Freedom but have done Mariner and Independence 4-day cruises. There was a formal or “dress to impress/dress your best” night
