I love seeing the 'Single Digit Dance' posts! I always look forward to making the post when I'm at that point, but somehow I forget almost each time.

Sure would be nice. Had it on the Mardi Gras, and would love to have the honey chicken biscuits for breakfast on my next cruise, but it's not on the Vista :(.

This is cool. As Veterans ourselves, my wife and I have always felt honored enough during just the Military event that's held once a cruise for about an hour. Always cool to sit and chat it up with fellow Veterans. Wasn't expecting them to beef it up, but very cool that they did. Good looking out Carnival.

So this is what I read an hour before I get to break for lunch?! Now that's all I can think of...thanks 😞 But seriously, that would be awesome!

If I'm assigned as the TA for the cruise, I've been able to move clients before. But, if a booking has a designated TA, the client is not typically able to contact the cruise line on their own to move. I say typically because the cruise line says once a TA is assigned, they're the only ones the line would deal with on a booking, however I booked a large group recently, and one of the clients called the line and got 2 of the cabins moved. Sometimes you may get a representative that'll disregard the line's rule for whatever reason.

From my experience in a cove balcony (on the Horizon), be sure to look and see what's above you. I totally forgot to do that as I was booking the last Family Harbor Suite that was available. I realized the first night that I should've prepared myself with something to drown out of the table moving and bumping that went on in the galley above us. I fully accepted it all, as I didn't do my proper research, so absolutely my fault. Another thing, I missed the glass wall. Being able to sit and drink coffee, or sip wine and stare out at the ocean was not an option for my wife. But, like I had been telling her for years, get taller! Your height is NOT Carnival's fault. Still, I'd give it another try, especially now that I know what to expect.

Seeing an orca would make my whole trip! That's so freaking awesome!

Mine was fine on the Mardi Gras. Side note, and you probably already know, be sure to ask your room attendant if they can bring you an extension cord, as there was no plug close enough.

Good point! I had just purchased the Value yesterday for 2 cruises. I think I'll go change them both.

We must know each other or something. Cuz everything you just mentioned (sailing on her this Thanksgiving, MG, all Dream class, etc.) applies to us.

When in Nov? We'll be on in Nov as well. We did the Horizon before, and I'm hoping the Vista's Havana Bar area is just as nice.

$300 on a slot machine on the Horizon last November. Lost it like 20 minutes later on the machine next to it. Still had fun the whole time though.

What stinks about this review is that I'm reading it at work, and ain't been able to do anything since I started. I'm loving this!

Ah shucks, we have a Family Harbor Suite booked on the Horizon for Thanksgiving. Just remembered we're right below the Galley. Hopefully the noise won't be so bad.

The tour guides typically know, but it wouldn't hurt to confirm prior to setting sail.

Exactly the same for me. Even though a few times I've said I might do it, I've still never watched one.

One thing I noticed was the meals that were supposed to be served hot, were normally hotter (which is a good thing) than we remembered from other cruises. No complaints from anyone in our party.

Do you know what the noise was? We're booked for this Thanksgiving in a Family Harbor Suite about the same location but on the port side. Just wondering if we might have the same issues.

I was on the Mardi Gras this past Thanksgiving, and JUST NOW remembered I forgot to stop by the Shawarma place 😞
