Many of these free rooms are going to people who have never gambled or rarely gamble. I suppose that they are hoping that these cruisers spend onboard and they break even. They do pay their share of the port fees.
Back to my point that X needs to focus on filling their ships to capacity. These endless cuts will not do that.
Well if one looks at cruise fares they have substantially increased fares enough to cover the costs. However what they need to focus on now is getting their ships at 100% occupancy. Death by a 1000 cuts is not going to do that.
They succeeded in the past by having extraordinary service and a great product.
OK. So you could not use this for kids sodas unless everyone purchased? What if you already had the drinks package. Would you have to purchase this also?
OK. So I started looking at a Carnival MDR menu.
They do have filets and higher end cuts, but they do charge $20 for them.
I figure once X completes their reduction, they will do the same and charge $20 for what used to be on the menu.
They can just bring a case or two of Sierra Mist onboard at embarkation.
Will Celebrity let us bring a full cow onboard? Or is there a corkage or porkage fee associated with this?
