Yes that's was the case on Iona but because I never made any claims before and didn't realise the ventura one I never quiried until I realised I had missed port cover on my insurance so lesson learnt

Just requested on Monday 13th November for a letter for missed port on ventura. Cruise was 6 weeks ago and had a reply with all the information today 16th .Good work P and O. Dont know if my insurance claim will be successful .1st time I have claimed for a missed port also have one for Iona which was 3 weeks later so 2 claims outstanding .The Iona one gave letter to everybody onboard but for some reason didn't on Ventura .I didn't request one whilst onboard Ventura as I didn't realise I was covered on insurance so fingers crossed

Yes if you want to quarantine your seat book before you go what you want to see and they just check you in when needed .You are only allocated your cabin number no particular seat no

Yes would agree as we had done that cruise last two years obviously first 2 were covid times with less passengers we were supprised how well it went except for the weather at times ,but usually do end May mid September hoping to miss school holidays.I guess with 34 p and o cruises never done anything else and never will we are pretty loyal and just go with what ever is on offer.

Adding a few comments sailed 3 times on Iona 21,22,and 23 same cruise sane place but this time was the most passengers we had sailed with. As we booked all 14 nights mdr 6pm we didn't see any queues we saw most 8.30 shows all booked prior 1st week and 2nd week whilst onboard .Rear lifts were fine most times just straight down from deck 10 to 6 .We only missed one mdr night cancelled on tge app celebration night 2nd week just couldn't choose anything so went to the buffet over dressed among the tee shirt brigade in my tuxedo never mind I was the odd one out. Food was about the same on all 3 cruises on Iona .Missed Alacanti just put my first claim in for missed port in 34 cruises so see how that goes. The pool at the back was closed the whole cruise for maintenance. The skydome music is still poor and doesn't help the entertainment. Find 1 person on their own is a bit better then a group but still very poor . We had booked the theatre most nights and most nights they never checked you in .The entertainment team on these big ships is nothing like the smaller ships anymore as already reported .We got off ship at 7.45 am no customs found our 3 cases and away by 8.15am which was supposed to be our time in Andersons .Well next year we are trying Arvia so will be able to compare. PS WORST BAY OF BISCAY YESTERDAY DRAWERS AND CROCKERY WENT FLYING IN THE MDR

Noticed on the iona menu's they are not dated only with a day no .1 to 14 so quess they just reprint them as needed don't know if they keep them for future cruises or just recycle them

Yes I changed my blood pressure tablets to the ones your supposed not to ear grapefruit .Trouble is I love grapefruit segments while onboard .What affect dies it give I have no idea must ask the doctor or does anybody know the answer need to know breakfast 12 hrs away

They were on ventura last month also here on iona .I checked price on Amazon and I think they were about about £4.50 each

Yes that's about our limit most ever had was £830 obc .So will never be in the market above this .Maybe £20 over at the most

So who buys a watch at £10,000 do they ever sell one ? 3 members of staff in the watch shop twiddling their thumbs .I would have thought they could have a good toy shop for the kids onboard and the grandparents to spoil their grand children for birthdays , holiday gifts and Xmas presents very poor from that aspect

I can never understand how these shops work in terms of making profit .They have watches upto £10000 ago .Who ever has money on a p and o cruise to buy one and how do you declare that ,the electrical shop for phones,samsung pads earphones,speakers no stock looks like they are giving up on this ship compared to ventura .The p and o marked merchandise so overpriced as a concession retail outfit they don't give very good ranges what people would buy in general i

We have 4 ships in Malaga today with a tui ship out in the bay.We are in our cabin at the moment all tied up tightly .Keep feeling the ship juddering not sure if it's the ropes keep tightening or what, but getting a bit gloomy out there .

No sign of scorch marks on marble .Endless pools out of use for the whole cruise due to maintenance. So 5400 passengers using Jacuzzis rather cramped Middle pool out of use due to rough seas .Overcast today in Vigo hope weather improves .

Left Eastleigh premier inn 10.45 filled up with petrol arrived at terminal 11.30 am onboard for 12.15 pm so that was pretty smoth going considering football traffic etc cabins just announced they are ready

Took 60 min for 15 miles on the M3 this afternoon. Only good point was 90 mpg out of my Toyota yaris and ev time of 65% and driving skills of 97 out of a 100.Certainly the worst we have seen it 34 visits to Eastleigh/ Southampton from sunny Scunny . Boarding time tomorrow 12-00 might have to give more time from Eastleigh at that rate
