What ship were you on? The last two ships I have cruised on, Allure and Explorer, did not have free Diamond Plus drinks available on the morning of debarkation. From my experience and what I have heard from others, this apparently varies widely from ship to ship and sometimes from cruise to cruise. We were on the allure april8-12 and adventure 12-20. Both times used 10 diamond plus drinks on disembarkation

Haven't been on a RCCL ship in a couple of years. Do they load your card day of embarkation? I thought I read they changed something up with the drinks.
The 5 drinks are also available on disembarkation day. Some people are going to jump on me and say no they aren’t but i just did a s2s and both cruises i have Bloody Mary and 9 cans of soda or water

First thing i would look at are the ports. There isn’t much difference in itineraries but depending on when you sail could make a huge difference.
-
DW and i always book as soon as we board but have never been denied booking for 2 different nights during the time we a re onboard. We always said minimum 7 nights. There is always at least one night we wouldn’t enjoy the MDR evening so we make plans for that night and then book a bogo for a late lunch on a different night
-
The positive about this cruise is the ports are mostly all small ports that don’t cater to the big ships. I enjoy that itinerary very much

You can redeem your drink vouchers at any specialty restaurant. You can exchange one of your drink vouchers for a 40% off listed bottle of wine if it is under $100.
You can share the bottle of wine or usage of your drink vouchers with anyone at the table up to your four voucher limit in one day.
Others may have more but those are the primaries as far as I am concerned.
The 40% discount does not count as a drink on your vouchers i believe

No..hideaway beach is the new adult section

Reservations are recommended. You didn’t say what ship but if you want to do Izumi reservations fill up quickly. There is usually a line on embarkation day and it gets quite long

I have 81 credits - so it seems I can get 4 drinks (up to $14) a day. My husband is sailing with me - so is it 4 drinks per person or per cabin - thanks!
Assuming you are both diamond..If not call crown and anchor and get your husband linked to your crown and anchor benefits
-
Diamond members get 4 drinks per day per person. They renew at 5am everyday. Including the disembarkation day.

Do I need to spend $1000 before I get my 30000 points? I was hoping to use it towards the drink package? Let me know. Thank you!
Yes. You need to purchase $1000 in the first 90 days..

Look at the menu for the nights and the most formal will be the on that has lobster. On an 11 night wee just. Disembarked that was the second last night

Follow up question - can you select which drink you apply against or is it automatically the first four alcoholic drinks? Like say I want a bloody Mary with breakfast can I pay for that one and later use it for a more expensive drink?
Yes you can just remember to tell the. Server?bartender you do not want to use your diamond voucher. They usually ask but sometimes do not

Can you purchase bottles of wine in the Duty Free Liquor Store on Adventure of the Seas to take home after you disembark?
You can purchase almost every bottle they offer in a good liquor store at home at a much cheaper price than what royal charges on a bottle of wine

If you go to the venue for reservations as soon as you get on the ship you can make all your reservations then. They keep some seats available at the time.

Haven't been on RCCL in many years and have booked a cruise for 2024, my question is do you have to sign up for their VOOM package in order to be able to text other members of your group? TIA as I am not a tech savvy person
You do not need voom but whoever you want to text has to be connected to you in the app…the voom desk is very helpful with all that

I used the app (again) this morning to check in for our 21 Jan cruise after using it last week for our 14 Jan one. I love the fact that almost all the info is already there. Scanning the passport is so convenient. More and more people have figured out that if you want earliest arrival time you need to be on the site at midnight. Used to be by 7 am, I could still get the earliest time. Not anymore.
If you are on a b2b there is no need to check in . The only thing you would need to do is if you are on an oasis class or anthem then you can make your reservations. When DW and i do a b2b and they want a check in if i am looking to book shows i just pick the latest available so someone can grab an earlier one

Hello
We are cruising in March and was wondering what restaurants (for a fee) are open for lunch? I know of all the places you don't have to pay for. So far I only see Mason Jar. We aren't in a suite. I was hoping for 150 Central or even Chops but so far they are just showing dinner hours. Anyone recently on and can comment?
Giovannis is open as is playmakers

Savory bites have been taken out of the kitchen since covid. They were making them special order for a few cruises after but not anymore. The roll chef came out to my table once after i asked for them and he said they do not carry the flour that is needed for them. ….i was so disappointed

Not impressed by bartenders in harmony suite lounge , extremely weak drinks , they try to give you cheaper wines and liquor. Only night that was crowded was first rest were fine , there is only 5 barstools and we were able to get seats except for first night. WiFi which is free with grand suite on oasis class has been pretty good.
First night is always busiest. They serve filets for dinner that evening. Probably better than chops in my opinion

Because I wanted both cruises to be on my loyalty
i need to increase my loyalty to move up to D+
If your husband is in the JS he will get the points along with your friend..you will not get the points but when you travel agin he will be ahead of you by the number of points he got for the doubled points but they match his status..just not the points..so in all probability he will be D+ sooner but you will get the perks when you are with him

Yes you can. And if you are on on of then big ships go straight to the CK and make reservations for dinner
