3 B2B between January and April. Have two more B2B scheduled - one on Mariner (16 nights) leaving on Saturday, and a B2B on Harmony in October. There’s an 8-night Bermuda cruise between those, and an 8-night December cruise on Jewel.

DW and i are on the harmony on october 23 and october 30

    Hello

We are heading out this weekend and I have heard that the port is a bit unorganized, can anyone let me know if they have seen improvements yet?

the port is very easy. drive in to the porter. drop off baggage. pull into parking ramp less than 300' . find a spot and get on board. hope you have fun

When you are notified that you have been accepted for a Royal UP bid do they let you know the cabin number so that you can make a decision if you want it or not??

when you bid you put your credit card number in. If accepted you are charged immediately. I know because i had a bid in for an upgrade for my cruise leaving this monday. I was notified by email that it was accepted and my next email was from my credit card company saying my card had been used. once accepted you cannot cancel tho if you dont like the new assigned room you can request another room of the same cabin type if available.

Word of caution... we chose to order wine with dinner and use one of our 50% off Diamond discounts rather that our Diamond free  drink voucher discount.  No problems.  However, the next night the waiter said we had used our one allotted half-off discounts and would have to apply the 20% off discount for the wine.  We went with it and said fine.  The next day after visiting with the Loyalty Ambassador, he agreed that each of us were entitled to two 50% off glass of wine discounts.  No biggie, but just be cautious and aware.  Sometimes the waiters are not familiar with the perks.

did you use the same card for your 50% off glass of wine?? DW and i do that for a nice glass of wine and make sure we use my card one night and her card another

Alright, try this one on for size.  We have a specific challenge because of travel right around a holiday, making scheduling the tests very difficult.  HOWEVER, one member of our party is a licensed physician.  He is willing to bring BINAX NOW test materials when we all meet up in Ft. Lauderdale the day before sailing. He can do the test, and will provide everyone with a printout with their name and DOB, confirmation of negative test results and his signature and license information (both his home state, and he's licensed in Florida).  You think that will suffice?

from what i heard the test has to be done at a "licensed" service such as a pharmacy..doctors certificates are not allowed

do you mean you didnt have the booze package and they gave you booze ?  im in a suite next month and i'm not a drinker but wouldnt mind one or 2 during the week

no we didnt have the drink package..one of the perks for a suite is supposed to be 11a,-11pm beer soda wine and water and happy hour from 5pm-8pm. a few times i went to the lounge for an afternoon cocktail and was going to use my drink vouchers but the bartender never swiped my card.

Mac-tic ~  We just got off the Oasis today and had a terrific week.  I hope your weather is as good as we had.  We had just under 2400 passengers onboard.  There was plenty of room for all!

DW and i just got home from driving to buffalo ny..we had a terrific time..masks anyplace inside except for eating and drinking. We had a suite for the first time and the bartenders in the lounge were very nice. they would serve us any drink we wanted all day long...tell MC John and Raj Michael and Brenda said hello

We have just booked our first Royal Caribbean cruise (on Anthem of the Seas) for some years, after shifting to smaller ships.

It leaves in less than 2 weeks so I'm trying frantically to remind myself of stuff I need to be aware of beforehand. I would welcome some tips from some of you Royal Caribbean veterans!

Most of our more recent cruises have included drinks but we don't want to feel we need to drink enough to make a package worthwhile so on that subject,

Can we still bring 2 bottles of wine onboard?

Do they still sell Wine packages? We used to find these useful as we can usually get through one bottle of wine with dinner each evening.

How expensive are speciality coffees? We don't drink really fancy ones (just Americano or sometimes a Cappucino) vut don't usually like the standard filter coffee at breakfast.

I know we need Covid tests and I'm hoping they'll send me details of that in the next couple of days but I also read that it's possible to book tests privately and then claim the money back. Is that perhaps the safest option? And how does that work? Can I book ANY private test and then keep the receipt or are there a limited number of suppliers?

Anything else I need to know at this stage?

as of today ( and things change) you need a PCR or antigen test 2 days before you cruise. So cruise on sunday test on friday. there is a way to get around the 2 bottle per cabin by checking in 2 bottles and carrying on 2 bottles. I have done this on longer cruises
