we have a suite on oasis on september 12 and have a royal up bid in for an aqua suite. My TA called royal to ask if we have a positive test on our precruise text but after my royal up bid is accepted(which at this time is still pending) they would refund for both the original room and the royal up bid

We are new to RCI. My wife drinks lots of caffeine free Diet Coke; how much would they be individually versus drink package (I think $10 per day).
I drink both whisky and beer. I cannot see how I can drink $57 per day. How expensive are craft beer or UK/European beer? How expensive are standard whisky such as Johnnie Walker Black or Jack Daniels?
thanks,
Marc
if you order online you have to buy the unlimited beverage package for both of you but if you call RCCL you can purchase the unlimited beverage package for yourself and the unlimited soda package for you wife..if you wife drinks as much as you say she will save a ton of money
and the drinks are breakeven point of about 6-7 drinks

We are both Diamond Plus
Many thanks.

Yes, there are certain instances where they will refund your FCC. That was announced last week.
As mentioned you will lose the 25% bonus amount that you received for taking the FCC in the first place. You mentioned that you already applied some of the FCC.
If you originally paid $1000 you would have received an FCC for $1250 ($1000 + $250 bonus). If you already applied $500 then I would expect that you will get $500 back and lose the bonus $250 entirely
i did not request the refund. this is why i am perplexed. i was not happy about losing the 25% extra credit
-
My TA called me yesterday and informed me that RCCl is going to refund me for my FCC's that i only used part of the FCC.they are only going to refund me the cash that i used and not any of the extra 25%. i only used parts because one of my cruises was a b2b 3 & 4 night. After my TA loudly complained they said they could give me a guest relations fcc but didnt disclose at that time how much the fcc would be. I am betting it will not be 25%. anyone else hear of anything like this?

I got mine over the weekend for October, was able to book an 8 day to make a B2B, and got C&A to move things around so we have the same cabin for both cruises.
Change not shown on the phone app but is online.
we were on the indy b2b october 17 & 23. Now on odysses but in different rooms. TA working on getting into same room.. also sailing with friends that were next door and now not sure where they are located. Hoping it is all straightened out june 18

Congratulations! Looks like we will be on Odyssey July 3 (being moved from our original cruise on the Independence) so looking forward to seeing you, maybe in the Casino???
i have a cruise on the Indy in october and i believe it has been moved to the odyssey. MY ta is trying to find out if RCCL is just transfering us at the rate i paid or at the current price. Did they move you at the price you paid???

the ones i have used charge a nominal fee. upwards of $10..i have used four points by sheraton at 1800 south federal highway. there is a very nice irish restaurant less than a half mile and then across the street from the irish restaurant is a sports bar that has american foods and happy hour drinks all day

my guess is because cruises have been cancelled thru June,2021

bartenders and the little cafe that is in the solarium..also the bathroom attendants roll mops and carts of their cleaning supplies..

my TA has explicit orders..no room on the deck below the pools..not only does the crew move the lounges around but the carts that move on that deck rattle like no tomorrow..good luck

You do lose the credit, they canceled my Majesty cruise, and I noticed they took the points off when the credit card was refunded.
i never took a refund..i took a FCC and when i rebooked with my FCC my OBC went to the new booking
-
i had points expiring last year and added OBC to a cruise. Obviously the cruise was cancelled so i just took the FCC and rebooked another cruise and the OBC came with it. If you take a refund i believe you lose the credit. That may be different with the lenght of cancellation. best way to find out is call Bank of America

yes..any drink you purchase over $13 you pay the difference + gratuities. at 18%.....so a $14 drink would cost $1+$.18...
