There are no prepaid gratuities, They are referring to the Daily Service Charge (DSC) and yes it is usually a legit offer (as long as it si frm a legit TA). If you take that offfer, NCL will not charge you the DSC on your cruise.

If you thought that CCL was good, you will absolutely love NCL. NCL is far and away a better cruise experience than CCL.

The title of your thread is misleading. The deck may have been overcrowded on YOUR sailing. That does not mean the deack"is overcrowded". If everyone who has access to the deck (or any otehr place on a ship) attempts to use it at the same time, there will be overcrowding. We did not run into any such issues on any of our Haven cruises on the Joy. Sorry it happened to you.

GSC is one of our favorite NCL srops. We have done the Silver Cove cabanas on a couple of occasions. They are a bit pricy but they do sell out on some sailings. While over-priced for some, they are well worth the cost for others. I am willing to think that you will be very pleased with the experience and be happy with the cabana. Enjoy your crusie and you stay at GSC! (The kids will really enjoy the swing that is out in the Lagoon!)

No, it does not happen. You will get your points post cruise. That is when they are earned and added to your account. They will NOT give you the points ahead of time.

Clear your cache and cookies. If you are logging in with your User ID try again with your email address, NCL had swapped over some accounts to the email login instead of User ID.

We have sailed the Haven on the Joy twice and it was a great experience both times. Food was excellent, service was way above expectations, and we enjoyed every second. We did go to eat one time where we were on a tight schedule. We let the hostess and the wait staff know that. They all expedited our meal so we had an easy tme keeping on schedule.

I comprehend. Four of us travel together and can pack for up to a 13 day crusie in one suitcase each. Havng served in the military, one learns quickly how to maximize the amount that can be stored in one piece of luggage. 🙂 Hope yoru next cruise is a great adventure and brings lots of new memories!

Two observations here: 1) I guess I must be one of the few people on this thread who actually packs enough clothes to make it through the crusie with clean clothes every day. 🙂 2) As for the laundry bagts, take one of your pillow cases and use it as a liner of sorts for the laundry bag and you can then stuff a lot more into the bag without worrying about splitting it open.

Most likely you will not see hoosp on any TV on NCL. All tehy usually sjow is the most lame and boring non-sport in the world, kickball. Some call it soccer, terribly boring game.

Side of the ship makes no difference wha so ever. I've never saild a forward or aft facing cabin and never understood the desire to do so but many do.
