I was on your cruise. Loved your review. Buffet was not wonderful but most of them aren’t. Was disappointed with grand canal dining room at the seaside brunch absolutely cold eggs 2 times. Never went back Dinner service was excellent and quick. our steward was Mr d. and he was beyond wonderful. very impressed because I use a walker that I was let into the theatre early. Never happened on princess or holland America Would never cruise out of nyc again. Way too chaotic .

The point is now mute my son in law was t boned by a crazy driver car is totaled. We now have to fly. Luckily he is ok. Could have been way way worse.

I have cruised a lot by myself or with friends. I used to pay 1.25 x for a single. Now I am quoted 3 times the price. Absolutely nuts. Yes there are single cabins. But they are all small or at the very front of the ship. The ones in good locations are at least double or more than double the price. i miss the relaxing element of cruising. Everything is rush rush rush. It doesn’t seem relaxing anymore. I absolutely love cruising though.

I am flying in 2 days before the cruise. Flying out the day of disbarkation. If I get off the ship about 8:30 is an 11:30 flight doable out of LaGuardia or safer to book 2:00 flight. Thank you

Thanks for your reply. We are boarding Venezia on Jan 23. I am thinking we should drive and stay somewhere before manhatten. Drive into manhatten the morning of the cruise, and park at the port.
