  1. I agree. And I'm so glad you're still going on your next cruise. Good for you, you're an encouragement.
  2. I'm sorry you had to experience that from the staff. Very unfortunate. But thank heavens there are good people in the world. Gives us hope!
  3. OMG! Sounds wonderful have a great time
  4. That's what I'm worrying about with the rollator. The ports where we have to get on the tender.
  5. Recently bought a rollator. 1st time using it on my next cruise. My question is how do I get out on to the deck through the double doors? Should I back into them or go forward? Thank you
  6. Good to hear from you again Willow. How was your cruise last day to Iceland ? You always have such good advice. Thank you
  7. Sounds like a wonderful cruise. Please enjoy
  8. Is there going to be a meet and greet?
  9. NCL really does have the reputation of a party boat.
  10. If I can do it anyone can do it. Go and enjoy. I find people different on different ships. I do
  11. What is a Walker? I just purchased the 1 with the seat it does have wheels and brakes. Is that called a rollator?
  12. I just wanna thank all the really great people out there who gave this pertinent information to people that are disabled. I think it's great that you take the time to help others. Thanks again
  13. Don't give lousy people that judge you any real estate in your mind. I'm 74 and it took me a long time to learn this. I was in line 1 time to enbark and a man started yelling at me because I had a cain. This was about 10 years ago and it really bothered me. Since then, I don't give a crap! You keep doing your thing Ps.. Hope you're feeling better
  14. I'm very sorry to hear that. About 40 years ago, right before I got married, my husband and I went into Boston and saw Jay and the Americans in person.
  15. What cruise line do you like the best?
  16. When I was younger , how do I explain this, I always wanted to be able to go into a restaurant by myself and have a meal. I just didn't have what it took to do that. But a lot of people I knew were able to go into a restaurant by themselves and enjoy nice meal and I envied them. Actually, there was a time when I couldn't do anything alone. I always had to have an entourage. That's no longer the case thank goodness. My friends were way ahead of me in that area. They were always self sufficient. I am grateful that I am at a point in my life where I can do things on my own. I don't have to stay home because someone else doesn't wanna go. It's very freeing. Hope that made sense
  17. You get used to it. I used to think it was pathetic as well when I was younger. But you get used to it .Especially on a cruise ship. It's expected. Actually there are times I'd rather be alone. I have refused people that asked me to join them because I just wanted to spend some downtime with myself. Quiet time, you know Also, I'm an older woman. Maybe it's an age thing.
