  3. This is the best thing I've heard in a long time. God bless you, that sounds so wonderful. What do you a tribute that to? Was it that you were getting more exercise? I have mobility issues. Not bad just can't walk along distance. But I do notice after a week of walking on the ship I walk a little better.
  4. You can buy 2 coffee mugs and a # of coffee on the Holland America line site. The 2 mugs are Blue Delft. I don't remember seeing it in the shops
  5. I found it very uncomfortable. I think it would be better to go when it's less crowded. If anyone on this thread has a better way of maneuvering a rollator in the buffet I would love to know about it.
  6. In the main dining room they took mine away and put it somewhere where it was out of the way. When I was ready to leave they brought it back to me. I found it to be more of a problem at the buffet.

  9. I agree. You really should think of buying it. Take a look on amazon they're very reasonable. And I have a feeling that you may be using it again so you will get your moneys worth. I bought 1 and I've never ever regretted it. Good luck Ps. It also came in handy as a seat. I took a 25 day cruise this year to Iceland and Canada and it came in so handy when I was waiting in lines Or walking any distance.
  10. I don't usually do that because I like to get the early booking bonuses. However, I'm thinking of doing that in the future. Waiting until close to the cruise date. It really is expensive to be a solo cruiser.
  11. Please don't tell me why I do what I do. I'm well aware of what I do. I canceled because of the way Holland America is doing their business now. No 1 knows what they're doing. I'm a 75 year old person and I don't have time to spend an hour on the phone with a representative that is clueless. I'm sure they're well meaning but they're not trained properly. The new vectoring system was just the icing.
  12. What a mess. I ended up canceling 3 of my cruises the 2024 and 2025. No 1 knows what they're doing
  13. I can only tell you what happened to me when I bought the gift cards from holland America a few years back. It was a good deal, spend the thousand get 100 back. I had to pay for the cruise anyway so I thought it was a good deal. However , was canceled none of that money came back to me it all went back to the gift cards.

  15. I know I got gift cards when Holland America offered them. The cruise was canceled and none of that money came back to me it all went back to the gift card. This was a few years ago so it may have changed.
  16. I have to agree. I've been sailing with holland America since 2017 and it has never been like this.
