Thank you. If a country needed a passport how does that work if you just have a birth certificate and govt ID? I always hear how the passport trumps the bc and govt ID.

Can anyone to use it? verify this for me. On a closed loop cruise where a govt ID and a birth certificate is legal documentation does a passport have to have at least 6 months left on the passport for it to be valid? I think not but I see so many people say that you do have to have 6 months left on it.

Yeah it is not like back in the day when you needed permission from the school.

Let’s hope all goes well for you. We have been platinum since 2011 but rarely use the priority boarding as we usually cruise with others who are not platinum so we wait and board with them.

I don't see much difference between MSC and the established cruises like Carnival, NCL, etc. I must say that if things go sideways on MSC they seem to be at a loss as to how to correct anything. The interaction I had at the excursion desk was flawless but the maitre'd interaction I had was a zero.

I got $100 off last week when I called my PVP and it has gone down another $60 since. I was a shocked as the next guy to see not 1 but 2 reductions. This is for the Mardi Gras.

We had a so called comedian on Meraviglia. It was so quiet in there you could have heard a pin drop. He was not funny at all.

I hope that's the case when we cruise because we are on there for 2 weeks. I must say that there is a certain group on people on the Brooklyn cruises who cause most of the commotion. At least that seems to be the common denominator on most of the negative reviews from Brooklyn. I read that people come on the ship with tupperware containers and bags and when they put the bowls out they empty them into their bags and tupperware. smh

to be honest because it was cheap. Figured I would give them a second chance and see if it's any different out of Florida opposed to Brooklyn. Also going when school is still in so hopefully the kids won't be as plentiful. 14 day cruise for $1500. I also have had the World America booked for a long time. If this doesn't pan out I'll cancel that the day I get back and wait 2-3 months for my refund.

We went on MSC Meraviglia out of Brooklyn and it was the same as you described. People bumping into with no regard, no excuse me, basically laughed in our faces when we said something to them. We had a family group of 9 and we weren't even seated together for dinner. Maitre'd said ship is full nothing he can do. We all booked early and had all reservations linked together.

they do the same thing on MSC and think their drinks are free.

sounds like you did really well. Tampa and Carnivals older ships have some really good deals. When my wife retires next week you might find us on one of those sailings. Enjoy!

when you say them, it's a very very small percentage of pax. You'd see the same on other cruise lines as well. As stated above just avoid the 3/4 night ships on any line. You are way overthinking it .

How can I find a Carnival cruise that has 3rd/4th free? This would be ideal for taking our grand daughter. We only cruise as a couple so never really paid attention to this.
