  1. That's deep. at 5'10'' I'd be clinging to the side.
  2. I've done plenty of insides too. If the price difference means I can't cruise because of the balcony , I would have no problem with boking the inside cabin.
  3. Thank you for the info. I got that part figured out but June 12 is the only thing highlighted in June and July is all greyed out but if I go to a TA website I can book those dates. They don't make it easy. lol
  4. Just wondering if these ships have the pools that are too deep to stand up without going under the water as I read that was the case on some of their other ships? Does everybody get in the pool and cling to the side?
  5. Thanks for the heads up. Did my status match last night and got a response this morning. Now to see if my group decides to cruise on MSC or not. My son and my wife and I are ready to book but we may be outvoted. If they don't decide to book, my wife and I will book one by ourselves.
  6. Hi, can anybody lmk what the cost is for the easy plus package or the premium extra package when purchased onboard. I checked the website but it says add to your cruise without stating the price.
  7. I am also like the OP and have no clue about how MSC works. I know their website isn't too user friendly. Can't even figure out how to enter the dates for a cruise search. so as long as the reservations are unlinked we won't need the drink package but we can still dine together? We have a group of about 13 going and not everybody drinks. That would be a deal breaker if we all had to purchase it and not use it.
  8. we didn't spend much time in the room either but we spent A LOT of time in the havana pool area. Only ventured out of the area during lunch to grab a bite to eat. We got a pretty good price on the Havana Cabana on Celebration. The price has gone up about $900 since we booked. I would never pay the current rate for that room. Since cruising is getting back to normal the prices are going higher and higher for the Cabana rooms. May be our last cruise in the Cabana room, especially with retirement coming in less than a year. Thank you for your input. Much appreciated!🙂
  9. ack! I keep hearing this. After getting off the Horizon, we loved everything about our havana cabana, seems we are going to be dissapointed on the Celebration.
  10. I don’t think our healthcare facility has any plans to drop the mask rules any time soon.
  11. Royal has 3 ships on order, Carnival 2, Disney has 2, and Virgin 1, yet you say only Carnival is being fiscally responsible. I would agree with your above statement if speaking about NCL or MSC even though MSC has very deep pockets.
  12. Did Carnival cancel the Celebration and Jubilee?
  13. Sorry to hear that. We fell in love with our Havana cabana on the Horizon so much we booked one on the Celebration. I see in the videos the pool is smaller and looks lime there are no hot tubs either plus with the loungers lined up against the glass doesn’t look like there is much of a walkway in the area. 😕
  14. You should take your comedy act on the road. You’re pretty funny ! Lol
  15. Maybe they were giving you the offers before to get bodies on the ship and now that capacities areup they don’t need to add too many bodies to fill the ship. Just a guess
  16. I believe if you are on the water you will connect to the ships tower.
  17. Like the other poster said its nothing more than a cold for most people. My spouse has it now.runny nose, cough, and sore throat.
  18. What is it that you would call it?
  19. My tip for Oasis is to make good use of your time by skipping cats. I’m on Oasis for the 3rd time October 23 and I certainly won’t attend unless I need a nap . 🙂
  20. Booked for next April in Havana cabana.
