  3. I hope you enjoy queuing 🙂 ? If they want to race to the bottom, It could be a new revenue stream to have paid reservations in the buffet and skip the line! Cunard also pioneered the idea of turning the underutilized sections of the buffet into specialty restaurants at night with a cover charge. Wait until they turn the buffet into a cafeteria with a cashier at the end of the food stations ! They seafloor is the limit here. Maybe I should stop giving them ideas.
  4. It won't surprise me if the "MDR"s on E-class ship will become surcharge specialty restaurant at some point. Maybe it was one of the reasons why they gone away with the idea of having one large MDR.

Edge Villa was selling for over $10k pp while Celebrity Suite was about $5-6k Here is the bid price range: Iconic Suite: $6,770 - $ 33,855 Penthouse Suite: $2,450 - $11,850 Edge Villa: $895 - $4,400 Royal Suite: $2,370 - $ 11,850 Celebrity Suite: $1,355 - $6,770 AquaClass® Sky Suite : $205 - $1,625 Sunset Sky Suite: $340 - $2,170 Consider it appears to be a near full sailing, it's unlikely that my bid will be accepted.
  7. As young DINK couples who have recently started cruising, please just keep things the way they are... If we want booze/party cruises (which we despise), we would go cruise on carnival or RCI. We choose Celebrity because we would rather tolerate old folks who want us off their boat than seeing kids running around and screaming. Please Celebrity, stop trying to be something you're not. The harder you try to appeal my generation/market, the harder it will backfire.

  9. I did not make any chances online to make it worse. Gave them a call today, fixed it right-away. Seemingly something felt through the crack when the last agent was trying to fix another issues I had.

Now if I want to go in and proactively de-select pre-paid Gratuities, it will tell me I'm still owing them money because my cruise is now 200 more expensive somehow. why are they deducting money from my promotional savings ?? Anyone know what's going on.... ? It's total software gore
  12. Not a frequent cruiser and have been living under a rock for a few years, Since when Lobster and Filet Mignon become extra charge items? I remember having "the Lobster night" on my second sea day and not having to pay extra for it. Do they still offer the lobster at least once prior to the end of the cruise to mark some sort of occasion?
  13. or both? From my pervious experience, I am well aware that they will try selling you drink packages on cruise planner even when you booked "All inclusive" fare. We decided to splurge on a suite this time and booking directly with celebrity cruise. The retreat fare we booked should include tips, but every time I logged in to captain club and go into "manage my reservation", it will prompt me "Please pay your balance to ensure that your reservation is not canceled." and The Prepaid Tips option is checked under the Add-ons tab that I'm owing them a few hundred dollars on prepaid tips. I cannot tell if they are trying to scam me for money by threatening to cancel my booking or just incompetent IT like they always do.

  17. We have booked the tour on the summit in 2 days. With 20% off pre cruise discount, it was about $140CAD pp ($100 USD with poor exchange rate?)

  20. Thank you everyone. It looks sturdy enough to not be a "single use" item yet not significantly or costly enough that they'd charge you for it. I just wasn't sure where the line is drawn.
  21. My WiFi and drink package has finally shown up on my Order History yesterday (Aug 29). Strangely enough, it's only showing up for 1 guest (my name only, but that's the primary contact of my booking, the other guest's name is not there.) and the drink package has no descriptions at all, only a picture of some lime cocktails. At this point, I think it's just a glitchy website. Thank you all for your help.
