  1. 7 nights Britannia club balcony on Queen Victoria for 2 adults for just under 4K.
  2. I found a great price compared to Celebrity for a summer 2025 Italy/France cruise. We are going on Edge this summer to Alaska. Across the country for us…it’s so worth it though.
  3. That all looks great. I was just looking at Cunard…
  4. I feel as if they sprayed everything with green frosting…festive yes but I think I prefer the regular look. Lol
  5. I always thought al bacio was good. The buffet desserts look amazing but perhaps the level of mass production has an impact on the quality.
  6. I’m curious too…last time I must’ve done the bus. Can’t quite recall but definitely didn’t spend much. Would potentially like to go again but not if I have to book an excursion to do it.
  7. Looks way more enticing than the lunch. lol. Great info on the coupons for sushi…will need to watch for that for sure.
  8. Agree that this works well and is my plan as well.
  9. Have you tried you tube? I hear what people are saying about the number of adults but maybe it works for you. I’ve traveled with 4 (2 adults and 2 preteens, due to Covid didn’t as teenagers) and people on here typically advocate for two rooms (even with kids.) If I had to do two rooms and double the price, trips probably wouldn’t happen. Never had an issue on a cruise with my kids in one room with me (and I admittedly haven’t done all adults.) Obviously, if you have unlimited funds (I don’t but lots of people seem to) and can do two rooms that would be preferable but hopefully you tube might have some video walkthroughs of rooms to help answer your initial question.
  10. I hope you at least received the refund quickly. That would be what would send me through the roof. I would be on the phone every day. I love the excuse that it takes so many billing cycles to see a refund but than others happen almost immediately. In this case, I’d want it immediately.
  11. Thank you everyone. I guess I’ll wait for the first Edge Alaskan cruises and just make sure they have good times at lunch as an option and that everyone feels it’s good. I think I’m pretty convinced…
  12. So not the same table/servers each night then I’m guessing?
  13. Now if only I could figure out some more OBC. 😂
  14. This is awesome info. Exactly what I was looking for. We will be eating late so have some time to enjoy the scenery as well as explore the ship if we get bored. Thank you.
  15. Where are you departing from? Years ago we did an orca whale watch in Vancouver which was amazing!
  16. Sounds delicious. Eden would use more than my OBC which I’m “trying” to stick to. lol. I looked at the Grand Bistro for lunch…looks good. Any idea whether Raw on 5 is typically open only for dinner? Not that we couldn’t but in my head I was liking the idea for lunch.
  17. Yes definitely not comparing apples to apples….we like both, nod toward sushi/seafood if it’s good over beef…
  18. Sailing on Edge to/from Alaska this summer. Right now I have the steakhouse reserved but based on things I’ve heard (and the fact that I’m in the overthinking phase of trip planning) I’m wondering if it would be better to use that OBC for sushi which we love. Thoughts? And right now the app says Raw on 5 is only open for dinner but I thought I read it was also available on sea days for lunch….
  19. Hi! We are visiting all the same ports. With the exception of Victoria we are hiking on our own (from the port) in all three remaining ports. I’ve done this before in all three ports with no issues. There are a ton of options — Google, all trails, you tube are good resources and you can find something that fits your style. My feeling is I’m not paying for something I can plan on my own that gets me out exercising and exploring nature in Alaska. I’m not a group tour or museum person but I appreciate that others are and that works for them. Our stop in Victoria is short and at night so I think we will wander and check out some highlights from a distance. Never been and just happy to check this one out briefly as it’ll be our last night onboard.
  20. At what time during the cruise would one be in the fjords? I may have slept through one too many geography classes… 🙂
  21. I probably should not be having this much fun looking at food pictures, but keep them coming.
  22. Thank you. Good to know for the first day for sure…definitely in my experience it’s nice to move around the ship and see what you can view from different areas.
