  1. And do you do this in cash? USD or Euros?
  2. I check frequently and often getting different pricing but it is always minimally different. Recently I got what I felt was a pretty good deal and booked it asap. Maybe it wasn’t though so I keep checking lol
  3. Do these just look like a sampler of pet food or do they not taste amazing either? It’s like a bad array of amuse bouche…
  4. Where are you staying? Cruising out of Fort Lauderdale next year and will likely use Hyatt Points…one option is in Las Olas…
  5. Also, @Norwaylady has a live post going and posted a current MDR breakfast menu this am.
  6. Oh yuck! That’s always my concern with tours. As an active middle aged (yikes, can’t believe I am saying that) person I don’t like the idea of sitting on a tour bus instead of doing something.
  7. I was thinking the same thing…have two bites of chip and guacamole and you are done.
  8. I’m in CT too btw, but I wasn’t teaching at that time. It was my planning period. 🙂
  9. Ha ha. Only felt it because I was on the second floor of my building. Other teachers had no idea…pretty cool though.
  10. Or why not make the sauce for both at the same time…lol…
  11. We often travel with others and find it is definitely fun. Our best travel mates are content with doing things together and separate so nobody feels any pressure to constantly be together/do the same things. It’s great. The sky suite looks awesome…I’ll never be able to justify the cost given our jobs and ability to only travel during the most $ times of year, but I love hearing about it and living vicariously. 🙂
  12. Have stayed at Bucuti and love that area of Eagle Beach. Do not recall a huge drop off, but ocean floor/beach topography can easily change.
  13. This is like a science lesson… 🙂 I’m a New Englander and my guest experience with something other than cold salt water lobster was on a cruise and now fresh and brackish water lobsters? Who knew…
  14. Love the intro video…can’t wait to follow along!
  15. Nope, from what I can tell pricing despite the latest promotion is fairly consistent.
  16. On all sorts of topics. 😂 I’m going to stick with my IV I think it’ll be fine given the setting and maybe even preferable. 🤞🏻
  17. Ohhh…didn’t look like that but that makes way more sense. If I had another few thousand I could do a magic sky suite…c’mon powerball. lol.
  18. Perhaps it’s just the paranoia others create…thank you for weighing in.
  19. Thank you. I feel like it’ll be great in Alaska (I’ve been to Alaska in an OV and that was fine — we spent a lot of time “on deck” for better viewing. Friends had a balcony and I think the weather cooperated on one day to be out there with some wine watching the world go by.) Once I’ve planned a trip, I get to the overthinking phase…
  20. Okay so I’m paid in full, in an infinite verandah room on Edge for Alaska. I’m happy with my room layout and location, however, the constant hate for the IV rooms has me worried (I don’t anticipate sunning myself in Alaska nor do I anticipate huge AC related issues and felt the IV might actually be kind of useful in Alaska.) There has been nothing available but I could now switch to a balcony guarantee (which of course means I have no clue where we will end up — don’t care on location but rather prefer stateroom decks above/below for sound reasons.) Also, this would be cheaper than what I paid which would stink to “lose $.” Thoughts?
  21. I hear you. This is super confusing. I will be on Edge this summer and actually want a set table with set waitstaff for late seating (this is what I requested.) From what I’ve read (and anyone can correct me, please,) the booking process does not reflect reality. The website/app/booking vehicle asks you to pick when you really do not need to. On board, for the MDRs you can then eat whenever you want and wherever you want. I also believe, you can still have a set dining time with set waitstaff as I want (sounds like I need to go sort that out when I get on the ship as I have no options for dining reservations anywhere that I can see despite others saying they’ve done it. So that’s another confusing piece of this.) All of the MDRs, from what I’ve read, have the ability to serve you from any of the menus, so it’s more about the ambiance/availability. It is confusing because the booking process says one thing/passengers say another/and then there is the reality that exists. I hope I have it all right, but decided I literally can’t stress about that as we will be able to eat. 🙂
  22. What do the glass fronted balconies look like?
