  1. 1, honestly do not know . Best chance of that would be at the World Class Bar though. for #2 I certainly would think so but if worse comes to worse, ask for it neat and a "second glass". Add your whiskey stones and transfer your drink.
  2. Wow, talk about bad luck. That being said a taxi all the was to Heathrow for $175 is only $25 more then 2 tickets on the overpriced NCL bus….
  3. Most bartenders are happy to make you anything you want even if you have to give them the ingredient list. I have found that often there is not an up charge unless you are calling for a premium primary alcohol. Example I often asked for a splash of Grand Manier on top of a frozen margarita and was never charged. Wife would often ask for a Kir-Royal using Chambord and wouldn't get charged extra.... I would guess at most the drink you mention might be a buck or two upcharge IF the bartender really wanted to charge you...
  4. Not that I have seen. There is the drink of the day if I remember correctly, and buckets of beer at the pool (6 for the price of 5)...
  5. Sailing an Ireland trip this spring in and out of Southampton on the Star and have a 2 pm flight back to the US. I see there is a national coach at 9am from the Southampton coach terminal that gets into Heathrow at like 10:40 which would be great. The next bus is 11am and doesn’t get in till 12:55 which cuts it too close. The bus is like $22 p/p . The only other option I see is booking NCL transportation for $75 p/p. Would we be off the ship and through customs in enough time to get to the coach terminal for a 9am bus? Southampton to Heathrow via train does not seem viable…. Suggestions?
  6. So if past experience is true, you pretty much can get any “regular “ drink with the classic package but it will all be made with “well” brand alcohol. If you want your margarita made with patron then it won’t be covered and there will be an up charge. The drinks off the martini bar are all an up charge as they are larger but if you order a regular martini not on the menu it is under classic package. That gin martini won’t be made with Bombay sapphire though…. Honestly if you are not brand picky classic works great.
  7. well as of last summer/Fall Classic beverage package covered all specialty coffees up to $10. at the Cafe. Adding fortifier bumped the price above $10 and you had to pay the difference. Classic does not cover non alcoholic drinks like specialty waters or red bull, etc... Premium covers all also...
  8. You are right. I am 99.9% certain 99% of people can be brain surgeons also if they just take the time to learn how to do it...
  9. Completely and 100% incorrect. Per X they have dropped all table support for both android and apple.
  10. Just to be clear, per X thay no longer will support ANY tablet Android or Apple. This is not an android issue.
  11. yea, I already found the APK and will load it up this weekend. That is far and above what 99% of people can do though...
  12. I find it interesting that we shifted to X from NCL due to feeling that NCL was making too many cut backs and nickel and dimming you to death…. This started long before COVID. Years ago, lobster was completely cut out, fee for room service was the norm, cut backs in general at buffet, Drink prices sky rocketed, etc… Trust me. Oceania is owned by NCL and is not immune to corporates mandates to maximize profit…. This buffet cutback at dinner is a new one, I will admit, but if there is enough guest pushback it will change…. Maybe not back to what it was. Often things are tried and then adjusted based on response….
  13. Yes but from her old tablet which the android OS was too old for it to load...
  14. Got the wife a new Samsung tablet for Xmas to replace an old one running something like V7 android software…. Tried to download the celebrity app and found it says not supported. The new Tablet is running Android 12 same as my phone which has the app on it. Tried contacting Celebrity and was told they no longer support the app on any tablet ( android or apple) only phones. Funny, it runs fine on my IPad…. Basically they said “go pound sand”. Is the app working on anyone else’s android tablet?
  15. Interesting as I can pre-buy photo studio packages to get pictures taken just not prints or digital files…
  16. Website. It was there back in November but not in later December when I went to preorder some excursions and such…
  17. All: Does anyone know why you can no longer pre-purchase a photo package (either digital or hard print) online ? It disappeared a few weeks ago (as best that I can tell) for both of our upcoming cruises (March and November). I liked the fact I could purchase a digital copy of all the photos taken by X unlike other cruiselines (NCL) where I had to buy a package of a certain # of prints for an absurd price... Is the digital print package still available on board even if you don't get the pre cruise discount?
  18. We had the same problem with our sailing in Alaska last summer. I went through customer service at Celebrity and they emailed the photo shop supervisor on the ship to have it corrected.
  19. Thank you. It doesn't say it is a tender but it is listed as Dun Laoghaire so that must be what it is. Tenders must only run till 9pm...
  20. Booked the Star for its May 21 sailing. In the itinerary it lists 2 days in Dublin. While an overnight stay is not uncommon it lists the first day as 7am-9pm and the next day as 7am-7pm. Do they really leave port, go sail around and redock the next morning? Seems very odd.
  21. Nope, first come first served seating. That being said we just got off B2Bs on the Eclipse and never had a problem finding at seat at the last minute for a show.
  22. Thanks Eclipse. This is all common sense but with all the threads I was seeing about making specific reservations I was doubting myself ....
  23. I just want to make sure with "anytime dining" it really means anytime during dinner hours and does NOT need to be the same time each night or making prior reservations. I keep seeing threads on making reservations for a specific time every night. I am used to NCL and just show up and ask for a nice table for 2 and typically get it with sometimes a short wait but often not. Am I missing something? Also We will be on the Eclipse Sunday. ON the app it lists regular dining sessions on floor 3 of the MDR and select on Floor 4. Is that correct? Again I am used to NCL with multiple main dining rooms and having a selection....
  24. Do they have Alaskan beers on the ship? If so what ones?
