  1. @Sthrngary I only know the following because I was corrected in a similar post: the heated tile loungers on Vista are on the card-controlled spa deck, while they are in the available-to-all area on Riviera and Marina.
  2. The online shorex booking is a comedy of errors. I use the cart just to make communication with the O phone rep easier (I don't do well verbally, especially on the phone). I just did this (albeit with SM), and had some show as full price, some had the discount, and one was $0...never had that happen before. So, go ahead and use the cart if you want, but call to actually purchase the shorex. The 5 excursions to get the 25% discount can be any excursion from $50 kayaks to $900+ plane rides. "Executive Cars/Vans" are the only ones that I remember that do not get discounted. Sometimes 5 excursions can total up to less $$ than 3 or 4 excursions. Oh, and make sure to get the itemized pdf from the O-rep (or via your TA). I will show the full price, then the discounted price (e.g., $0 for OLife shorex). And to be clear, OLife shorex count toward your minimum for the discount.
  3. (Picture horshak from Welcome Back Kotter..."oo, oo, oo!"). 5-6 pm in Horizons and Martinis, and 10:30-11:30 pm in Horizons on my last cruise. Sometimes Martinis only if Horizons has a function. Two of the same drink are charged the single price.
  4. No, she's talking about the full cost of the full-drink package for OLife people (which is what shows online even if you have SM) vs. the "discounted" $30 upgrade for SM people (which can't be purchased online).
  5. Oh right, forgot about the afternoon ones (on a sea days?)...I vaguely remember a magician which was a class/show, and there was a movie or two in the late afternoon, but I didn't go to these so it didn't stick in my mind. There are also sometimes late afternoon talks by experts. On our last cruise there was a "chef's competition" between the CD, Captain, and Head Chef...surprisingly (to me) hilarious!
  6. Usually 9:30 pm, but it has been reported that sometimes it will be slightly earlier. From memory...at least singing/dancing shows by the entertainment team, a comic or magician, a guest singers (not the entertainment team); as the cruise length gets longer...shows that involve the other entertainers (piano, jazz/mix band, rock/hits band, string quartet).
  7. My invoice has the Bronze OBC listed for our 5th cruise.
  8. In addition to the regular swag (metal water bottles and other one time use items...slippers, toiletries), you'll get the bronze level goodies since it's your 5th cruise (tote, hat, wine...almost forgot the pin 😉 ) https://www.oceaniacruises.com/oceania-club-benefits and PH goodies (just? champagne) https://www.oceaniacruises.com/suites I think a 2nd tote bag, but someone who has actually had a milestone cruise in a PH will need to confirm.
  9. I meant in general...it seems like everything has to have their name stitched or embossed somewhere, which is OK when free, but not when I pay for it. Which reminds me, I need to get some handle wraps to cover new luggage handles.
  10. I've been known to remove or obscure advertising if I like the actual item 😉
  11. If they have the ingredients, they will make whatever you want.
  12. It looks like Vista is scheduled for J: https://wwwx.miamidade.gov/Apps/Seaport/dailydock/Default.aspx
  13. Well now I feel a bit silly after that beautifully written ode-to-joy, but I remembered a little item that is one of my many favorite things...the rolled-up hand drying towels in the public bathrooms. I don't know why, but it makes me happy every time I go to dry my hands.
  14. As ak1004 said, there is an inclusive-package, but they also have other packages (e.g., drinks or laundry), or they did last time I looked.
  15. I have seen people order/receive things like iced-americanos and iced-lattes in Baristas if those are the type of drink that you mean.
  16. PH rarely goes on sale, and only on the worst selling itineraries. Book the category that will make you happy at a price that you are satisfied with. If a sale shows up, bonus $$ for fun activities or other joy.
  17. Hmmm...I'll have to think of my favorite, but in the mean time...after we board and check in at the muster station, we make a bee line for Baristas for a melange, a cappuccino, and a cannele...heaven!
  18. Yay!! It was my pleasure...pay back for all the help others here have given me 🙂 I hope you enjoy Red Ginger (well, all really); it's my favorite.
  19. Yes, you should get one in each (more if higher cabin or longer voyage as you know). If it doesn't get sorted, call O in the morning and explain the problem...maybe they'll use their super power and reserve what you want. In the mean time, try the usual...clear cookies, use a different browser, turn computer off/on (and run a cleaner if it's not automatic)...etc. It could also be a glitch on O's end which means no one is able to reserve those two. Have you pinged your rollcall?
  20. I can't picture the reservation page at the moment, but can you click the "sharing" button? It may be that all of the (currently) available 2-tops were booked by higher-level cabins.
  21. Either a soundbar or wireless speakers in the bed/sitting area could help with the noise issue as long as the TV's speakers were disabled. A bonus would be optional headsets.
  22. @KathyL2537 When comparing future O cruises to others, you might want to look at O's larger ships, if only because Barista is open until 10 pm 😉 (OK, there are other benefits too). I am fine with Regatta in Alaska, but I am soooo happy that Riviera is taking over that route in 2025.
  23. O is not known for their fabulous website accuracy. I snickered because this type of error is common for O (i.e., I was snickering at O, not your post...sorry if that wasn't clear).
  24. @mamaclark A quick comment on food quality and service on Regatta. We were on Regatta (Alaska) in Sep 2022, June 2023, and Sep 2023 (May 2024 is booked). We had no bad meals (but those cookies need butter!), but did notice some waitstaff (not cabin) service issues in 2023. My guess is they were either understaffed or had too many people in-training. The waitstaff were working hard, but sometimes things were slower than we'd experienced before. It didn't matter too us because we were never in a hurry and are patient, but it should be better than it was (I hate having to wave down a waiter to get something, especially when they are obviously rushing around with more than they can handle).
