Worldtraveler, your last question is something that I would like to see an answer to as well.

I am questioning the "packages" only, as most of the cruise fair has already been taken care of, and there is no problem in that area. Guess I'll just have to WAIT and see a month or two before we cruise.

Thanks for getting back with me on my question. That does sound pretty good in just getting one of the smaller photo packages, and this way I could make sure I had the MAIN pictures I wanted. Yes I agree, I have a feeling the cell phones have stopped a lot of picture ordering too.

I guess I can wait until it gets a little closer to February, and check with my PVP, and see what she says. I know they are there to make money, but so far she has really helped out.

Thanks for letting me know, but I don't really think that is fair. I know that is not your problem, but the other person in the room is not related, and they may not want that package, so it does make it bad, if the other one does.

These different packages really have me thinking!!! I am different from everyone else as I have MORE than 60 picture albums, and instead of having ALL the pictures on a hard drive, etc. I have them in albums, and this way I can take my time and look at these pictures. I know this is the NEW way it seems they are doing the pictures, and I'm just about thinking of just taking pictures with our phones, as some of my pictures from my phone has turned out as good as a professional, if someone takes the "time" to take the picture. Am I also reading that if we get one of these packages, the OTHER person in the room whether they want the package or not, they HAVE to buy it, or the first person cannot get it?

For those of you who have purchased one of the different Princess packages for your cruise, if you had someone in the room with you that was NOT related, and they did NOT want a package, were you still able to get one of the packages for yourself? I thought I had read some place that "both" people in the room, when not related, had to purchase the package (even if one of them did not want it), if one of them wanted it.

I will say (I have FB) I went to the area that says Message on it, and sent my message to them. I don't like using Messenger (been hacked more than one time), but I did hear back from them and with our group of 7 or 8, they said they don't take care of that many people at once, or something like that.

I understand where your coming from. I have been BLESSED that my son has MADE two computers for me, and that is all I have, and when something goes wrong, he or his wife are the ones that "fix" it for me. As for FB, I'm sure I'm much older than you, but that is how I stay in touch especially with friends from my past and the large corporate office I just retired from a few years go. I never had an issue with FB, until just lately when I received "2" emails ASKING me if I wanted to start a NEW account, which I NEVER requested on FB. Some way or another my d-i-l see it and ask me if I had requested it, and I said no, and I said the same thing in the two emails they sent to me to. She said she was able to contact them and to not change anything on my FB, which I was thankful for. As for Messenger, I try my best to STAY away from it, but sometime I get messages that I have to read. Twice I have been HACKED on Messenger, so I try to stay away from it as much as I can.

OK, thank you. Rocketman, you sound like my friend who does NOT have a computer, and does not want one. You may have a computer, only do not do FB, which I understand too.

So to get a hold of Saltwater Moms, do I find it under that name if they have a website or Galveston Saltwater Moms or what?

I would say try to get another one. There are at least 7 of us that I booked through one several months ago, and I am happy with her, although I have NOT heard from her, but since our cruise is not until February, I'm not worried. She has most of the important information about the different ones that are cruising, and she said once it gets closer to time, she will get the rest of the information. I will say when I first got her, I dialed another number, and they said if I did not get her, they would MAKE SURE I got another one, so if you haven't already, I would try calling again and make sure you speak to someone, or make sure you leave your phone number for them to call you back, as happened with me.

When I posted earlier, I failed to mention I am enjoying your pictures too.

I am really surprised (it may change by February when we go) that the IC is open 24 hours a day, which really seems unusual on most ships.

FritzG, thank you for telling me the syrups would be for coffee, which I don't drink. I do know it is hard to get syrups for hot tea, but once in a while when I ASK, they do have them, that is why I ask here. 🙂 Thanks to whoever told me what the IC stood for as well.

I'm reading some of these responses and I have some questions. Someone mentioned the Philly cheese steak in the MDR. Was that on the menu for dinner, or what time of the day, etc.? Was the chocolate croissant in the buffet area for breakfast, or where? Someone mentioned some food at IC, what does that stand for? Where was the vanilla tea found? I love almost anything with the name of "vanilla." 🙂 The fettuccine Alfredo cheese basket was mentioned. What is that all about? Cinnamon and monkey bread sound good too. 🙂

My attention was caught, when HOT tea was mentioned, as I am NOT a coffee drinker either. I do have a question. I understand/see that they use the tea bags, but have you seen them use any "flavored" syrup teas? This I love, but they are hard to find.

That's a shame that you find some of the people there on the ship that do not speak English, seem to be rude. 😞 Everyone on this ship should be on there to ENJOY what is going on and "trying" to get along with each other, but it sounds like some people are being more selfish, and not thinking of anyone else, other than themselves. 😞

Looks like you will be starting on the Regal tomorrow, which is the 25th. We are to do it in February for the first time, so hopefully I can get some tips from reading your review/posting.

Our trip is not until February of next year. If I cannot get my robe on line, I will make sure my Princess PVP (seems very nice at this point), will do it for us.

So do I gather that Alfredo's is not just pizza, but pizza and pasta and other foods, to sit down, and a waiter takes your order? Then there is JUST a pizza place too?
