I disagree with this comment. Royal has saved a stateroom for you and if you cancel it will cost $100.00 per person. It is a lot of work for them to cancel cruises for everyone and they don’t have the man power. It is their cancellation fee, which I have no problem with paying if I am the one making changes.

We were also on this cruise. The buses leave starting at 7am every 30 minutes. We booked rough guest services for $10.00 a person. We booked it to get to the train station. Keep in mind if you do take the train to Venice there is a elevator at the Ravenna station but not at the stop where you have to switch trains. You need to be able to take your luggage up and down a few sections of stairs. If we do it again I would definitely take the bus transfer all the way to Venice and not mess with the train.

We are D+ and also have a hard time getting close to the 5 drinks a day, especially when you get off the ship with long port times. 🙂

We were on the Ovation in Alaska for 4 weeks last year. The internet is really spotty in Alaska. We get 4 days free between us and there were days that we had a hard time even getting emails.

We purchased it the 2nd day at guest relations. 😀

Agreed and it is really difficult to consume 5 drinks a day unless you have a lot of sea days.

We arrived early this morning and were off the ship at 7:30.🙂

We are also onboard and have been for B2B. They have had $10 shuttles to the train station each week. 🙂

We have also asked for them on the Ovation, Symphony, Anthem and Odyssey with no luck. Can’t wait to have them back. 🙂

We also received that offer last week for $9.99.

I am currently on the Brilliance cruise out of Ravenna. We stayed in Bologna the night before the cruise and it was another 20 minutes to the port the following day. We are on a B2B so we will be on here next week. Lots of passengers have been talking about getting to the port from the Venice airport. They have told us that it takes 3-1/2 hours. Make sure to allow a lot of time.

Royal is not testing passengers disembarking for entry to the US. They aren’t even testing B2B passengers anymore.

Keep enjoying the small ships. We are on the Brilliance for a B2B and can’t wait to get back on the Quantum or Oasis class ships. There is so much more to do on the larger ships and we like that things are cleaner and better maintained. The older ships seem to have so many maintenance issues.

We also should have received one from the Ovation in October. They did mail it to us last month, I hope that you received yours!

We haven’t heard anything about it being lifted either. We are on the Brilliance and will be needing to test to come back to the US on May 31st.

We also do this so that we know where our table is ahead of time. We can skip the long line leading into the dining room that way. We are on the Brilliance right now and they escorted people to their tables the first day. We are on a B2B and they even asked us last night if we wanted the same waitstaff. That has never happened to us before, which was a nice change!

There is bacon, cold eggs and toast. We haven’t had much luck with a warm breakfast on this ship. 😪

We are also on the Brilliance right now. I am so sorry about the OP situation in quarantine. There are no freestyle drink machines on board….we don’t even have hash browns in the windjammer in the morning.🙃
