  1. Why did you and your husband have separate onboard accounts?
  2. I can unpack in less than one minute! (see my previous post)😎
  3. Let's see. People who have never used packing cubes tell me why I don't want them. Yeah, that makes sense. 🤣 I love packing cubes. I have four of them that nicely fill the top half of my full size checked bag (the other half is generally empty except for my slippers and a zip lock or two with laudry bag accessories and first aid stuff). When I get on the ship, I grab all four at once (they have nice handles) and flop them on the closet floor. Done! Other than sticking my toiletry bag in the bathroom, I'm unpacked. Each morning, I grab them and flop them on the bed. A few unzips/zips and I have my clothes for the day. DW can do whatever she wants with the drawers and main body of the closet. Bottom line: packing cubes are mostly about convenience and organization. Their main purpose is NOT getting more crap packed into a suitcase.
  4. Are you talking about Acrobat Pro?
  5. On one of my recent cruises, the Shorex folks told me that I couldn't use OBC for Shorex. I walked exactly 15.75 feet to my left and asked the nice girl at the onboard account desk to educate her friends over on the Shorex desk. It took about five minutes and everybody was on the same page.
  6. You'll have about a 50% chance. No, none of us know why...
  7. Yep, and 99.9+% of the time it isn't really lost. It's just in the orphaned luggage room waiting for its parent to show up and claim it.
  8. I don't own any of those things. I'm 100% cotton for everything, and it all comes out of the NCL laundry process in original condition. I love the NCL laundry perks! 😍
  9. You can book it with a chat on NCL.com. It still may not show up online.
  10. Yeah right. Most of those bags (other than yours) are there because of contraband spotted in the x-ray (or people who used the paper/staple "recommended" approach). Nobody went to bed without their jammies.
  11. Very nice! What ships is American Diner on?
  12. Very nice. I've had some great meals in the MDR. Great for us 🐀s in steerage.
  13. That's great, but I personally have never lost a bag and I've never used more than one tag on my bags.
  14. That fillet looks medium. Did you order medium rare or rare? I usually order one level below what I really want, because they seem to always overcook them.
  15. April 2, 2025. Mark your calendar. Meet me at the bar after lunch. That's a 17 day B2B for the zellots.
  16. Fair enough. We've only done it at lunch, and I'm generally still loaded up with food (and Bloody Marys @IAcruising) from breakfast. As long as you maximize your fun, it's all good! 😎 I eat surprisingly little for my large girth. Probably because I really don't do anything...
  17. Careful what you wish for. There's a fine line between "when I grow up" and "when I grow old." 🤣 At the end of the day/life, it's all good brother.😎 End of life? Here's a special @ChiefMateJRKbonus from the great Warren Zevon. Can't touch this one.... "there's a train leaving nightly called when all is said and done" Best lyric ever?
  18. Yep. Makes sense. I'm always in steerage, so this is just an academic interest.
  19. Have you ever shared 8 items with a partner and actually eaten it all? You may be the first!🤣
  20. I'm the opposite. I stock up on CNs and apply them during double ups to my many future inside bookings. They have double-ups for insides like every month.
  21. Yeah, we all did that when we were newbies. Now we spend $7 at Amazon and get the bullet proof ones. Yet, for some mysterious and amazing reason, there are still some nervous know-it-alls that use fifteen of those on each bag.🤣
