  1. I book my specialties and then "fill in the blanks" with blanket 5:30 MDR reservations. Takes a few minutes and I have until 5:25 on the day of the cruise to change my mind. (yes, I cancel earlier in the day than 5:25 if we make other plans...)
  2. 🤣I get it @DeSaxMan13. But I may not be representative of the broader audience. 😀 They just don't write 'em like that anymore.....
  3. Yeah, I get that. And I seem to recall legit stories about high energy lasers actually causing some problems. I just don't consider "laser pointers" to be in that realm. And you're absolutely right. My cat used to love those things.😀
  4. Absolutely. I've read about that, and likely that there have been arrests. It's a sad state of affairs. That said, when I used to use those cheapo laser pointers in the conference room back at Megacorp, I was lucky if it even worked. The standard practice was to a) hit the screen and then b) move it around to try to point out what you were babbling about. This was generally ten to twenty feet away from a non-moving target. A quarter mile from a fast moving jet? It ain't happening...and if somebody claims it did they're just trying to get youtube hits or whatever else it is the kids are after these days.🤣
  5. I'm still more worried about the Bermuda triangle. Why isn't that on @KKB's list?
  6. "Many high-powered lasers can incapacitate pilots flying aircraft that may be carrying hundreds of passengers." High-powered lasers, sure. Who would argue that? "Laser pointer?" 🤣
  7. These are really two entirely different questions. As other have suggested, triple points seem to pop up once in a Blue Moon. Double points? Probably every month or two, often including steerage (where this 🐀 sails). 😎
  8. I would be more concerned about being in the Bermuda triangle. I've watched thousands of hours of TV factual documentaries on that place. Now THAT is something to be afraid of. Like the song goes, "leave without a trace." (good song by the way!) Disclaimer: I just remembered that I'll be sailing in the Bermuda triangle with @ggTexasGal in a few weeks. Wish us well!! 😬💀☠️🫥👻👽
  9. Why? It is used and useful right now.
  10. I do the opposite. I don't sign up or say that I'll attend. Then, if I feel like going when the time comes, I show up. If it was cancelled due to lack of interest, so what? I've never heard any complaints about too many people showing up.
  11. Why do you think that roll call participation is a measure of overall health/activity of an internet discussion forum?
  12. She lacks an observation lounge, but is otherwise very similar to other smaller NCL ships.
  13. I track them and there really isn't much of a pattern. Sometimes, the Pride of America sailings are available months before anything else, likely because the itinerary never changes. Right now, the Aqua can be booked for the beginning of 2026, but most other ships cut off in mid to late 2025.
  14. Yeah. If anybody wants intelligent dialogue on stock prices, a cruise internet forum is likely not the right place to have it. That's certainly been my experience! 🤣
  15. I've been doing my part. Aqua bookings are now available for Spring 2026.😎
  16. Is this true? Has anybody been charged $25 because they lost an NCL towel?
  17. On my next cruise, when DW and I again buy 16 CNs, I need to remember to ask them for any added perks. I know that if I book a cruise at that point, they will often provide a cabin upgrade within the chosen category. I book my cruises when I'm not enjoying my holiday, so that may not be an option. We'll see.
  18. LOL. Yeah, I guess if I was about to sell it would mean something.😎
